It also depends what you consider a big club giacomo... Liverfekkin'wankscum have not had an even close to realistic chance of winning the Premiershit for as long as I can remember. This year was perhaps the closest they've come in my memory. Having said that, I am aware they have had a few good runs in the CL, but seriously... whats the difference? 3rd/4th best by miles in the EPL or Serie A... same shit... at least we've actually won a domestic league in the past 10 years.

Frustration finds its outlets in different ways, depending on the personalities of the people involved.

Some berate those responsible for our club's present situation on a daily basis, finding what seems an ever increasing length of splendid examples of management incompetence with which to illustrate their grievances...

I've long since realised that to many football clubs the fans are merely a monetary statistic, but that also the lifespan of any management régime including a questionable one is fortunately limited to a cycle, a collective set of circumstances...therefore I tend to be a little more philosophical in my approach.

I noticed today the public assurance of la Sensi over the De Rossi transfer rumours that he will be staying with us, an unnecessary act in a less stressed situation! Although the fact that Carletto Ancelotti personally contacted Bruno Conti re/De Rossi making this an exceptional case, I rather think that finally, our present set of front office staff and owner realise Roma fans exist beyond just the price of our season/admission tickets, percentage of tv subscription fees, and general club products revenue!

It's been asked before of course and many times, but...

Question: without going from the sublime to the ridiculous, how can fans force the issue of showing complete dissatisfaction? The best way of course is not practical and could do irreparable damage to the club, to say nothing of being completely unfair to the coaching staff and players...a boycott of matches.

A demonstration at l'Olimpico in such a way as to not provoke authority yet make a point? When la Sensi enters the VIP box if the fans collectively go silent and turn their backs, leaving the odd displayed banner to say, "Sensi… vende fuori!" It would make the news but not do much more!


You know, the sad thing yesterday and today is the Mediaset text service running the piece that no offers have been made and received regarding the sale of AS Roma.
