I think that's what most of us expect, aba. Whether we sell any players or not, no new players will be joining us, at least not in the class of Huntelaar. All I'm hoping for is that we keep everyone we have, and that includes Aquilani.

I disagree, Gio, I think we do all have a problem with a 25-year-old Roman being sold off. In fact, I think you would struggle to find any Roma fan (other than Pauly, mayhap?) who wants to sell Aquilani. I think the point which was being made here that if one had to go between Aquilani and Vucinic, we would choose the Roman, as much as we don't like it. Even Spalletti seems to agree with that (he is holding back Vucinic in my avatar).

I brought up the points about how Spalletti and Conti can agree to let Aquilani leave if the right offer comes in a few days ago. That one doesn't add up for me. How can Spalletti allow a valuable player Ã¢â‚¬â€œ valuable in terms of the future if not the starting 11 right now Ã¢â‚¬â€œ leave and not be critical of the move and, likewise with Conti, how can he go along with it and not criticise Rosella and co. for pushing this move through? She is not liked anywhere and is fucking up all over the kip so why not openly criticise her? If we don't have cash to buy new players, ok fine, lets deal with and do as we are, but lets not sell of one of our valuable players and pretend that its for the good of the team instead of its owners.

Marco D'Alessandro has been sent to Grossetto con la formula del prestito. I am sure we will hear the bloody details at a later date. So much for the youth being integrated into the squad. He is one of our best prospects.
