Red, we don't need our trequartista to be the extravagant player like you have mentioned because we already have Ibra (under the hypothesis that he is staying). Basically, Mourinho is looking for a Stankovic kind of player but with a more attacking verve and I think Hleb is just that. He will take some pressure of Ibra's shoulder with his creativity and at the same time help out in defence when needed. The only problem with him is that he is injury prone.

If itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s true thatÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s a ridiculous fee for a player who hasnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t performed on the big stage. No team could turn that offer down. Personally, I think Inter just got a lot better.

The new away kit looks pretty cool. The Pirelli logo has gone back to white which looks like crap compared to the gold of last year.

Spanish Press are saying the deal has been concluded and tbh, I think it's legit this time.

All the best to Zlatan and I don't blame him for leaving since he's achieved all he can in Italy. This might mean we go for Cassano for the out wide position since you wouldn't think Milito or Eto'o could play in that spot.

The world could quite simply explode when El Classico is played due to how much talent there will be on the pitch.

I'll wait for something a little more official before I comment on this move, since we dont even know the actual cash amount we'll receive. I beleive that if they add some 40M it would be a good deal, but really how do you swap a proven striker in Italy like Ibra with someone like Eto'o in mid-July? A month away from the start of the season? I'm not saying Eto'o is not good, but he's so damn different from Ibra. Are we sure Mourinho would be happy with this change?
I'm also a bit sceptic about the player's will to move. I know Ibra would be delighted, but are we sure Eto'o would be happy to come to Inter? And about that cash amount, do you seriously beleive we are gonna splash that amount on the market? IMO that amount would go to reduce our deficit instead of Moratti putting in his usual cheque. All in all, I beleive we have the most to lose out of this deal.
I'm still hoping that this is a move to get Valencia reducing their expectations on Villa..

Hopefully it does work out Shield but I'd like to think that Mou was asked on his opinion if he wanted Eto'o and that he's given the green light for the move to go ahead. However, if this is all Moratti's doing and Mou doesn't have a clue about how to accommodate him into the formation then this isn't going to be good..

Yes, thats an important point. Mourinho has develop a strong bonding with Ibra (some would say too close, if you get my meaning heh heh), much like how he did with that muppet Drogba at ChÃ¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â£$ki, and i'd imaging he would be furious with Moratti if Ibra were to be sold without him knowing. But surely Mourinho realises that in all likelihood Ibra wants to leave and so he may accept it and built without him.

at inter cant be replaced ,for me worst nightmare coming true
and eto is another shithead that cant replace ibra .i am hoping is all bullshit
but i start to believe is all true .

Agreed Briz. This should be seen as a nightmare for us. I really cant beleive there are Inter fans out there who are actually celebrating this deal as if it is in our best interest to get those damned 40M...That money will go to solve a little of the club's debts, like Milan did with Kaka......What a sad day.

What's the point of keeping him here if he doesn't want to be, though? Every chance he and his agent got, they were saying "we'll see what happens" etc which doesn't sound like any sort of commitment towards the club if you ask me. I retract my previous statements though; I'm going to wait and see 1. If the deal actually goes through 2. Mou's comments 3. New tactics adopted and 4. What we're going to do with the 40 mil. Everything needs to be known before we can reach a conclusion on whether or not it was a positive deal.
