Agreed. They have a great midfield now with Melo + Diego and their strikers are good too but their defence is poor. Chiellini, Legro and Canna is only going to get you so far and they've already spent close to 50 million in transfers so you'd doubt they can get any more quality players in. Also, on the flanks in not much better. Then add to to the fact that they've got to change systems to fit Diego in and, like Lomba said, Ciro is far from a guarantee of any success and their still not quite their yet. Also, we've got the 2 highest goalscorers in Serie A from last season and potentially the best young striker on the planet so I still don't think their frontline is as good as ours. But I agree on any given day, they can match it with the best.

Madrid just came in and said they can't afford Maicon; I wonder what that fuckface of an agent is going to do now..

Pavel Nedved has allegedly revealed that he is mulling over an offer from Inter, but will consider rejecting it out of respect for Juventus supporters.

Press reports suggested yesterday that the Nerazzurri were in negotiations with 'Czech Fury', who is a free agent after refusing the terms of a new deal with former club Juve.

According to Tuttosport, the 36-year-old spoke directly with Beneamata president Massimo Moratti yesterday and asked to have a meeting with Jose Mourinho, presumably to gauge the Portuguese coach's desire to have him in his squad.
