Well, I would hope so. If not, we could have gotten a little more for Marchionni.

Does anybody see us signing Melo after the latest news regarding Marchionni and Grygera moving to the other direction?

Personally I've started to think that a deal may become possible if both players are included in it.

The only downside in such a transfer is that Marchisio's playing time will probably decrease.

Here's the midfield I think Ferrara will field if we sign Melo:

I personally expect we'll sign at least 2 more players, a left fullback and a centre midfielder.

That's why I have Grosso up there. With regards to a CM, we might just get someone like Ledesma.

Haha! Ricky is like the opposite of Dino. He says we aren't going to sign another CM, and then an hour later we "apparently" have signed Melo.

Lots of 'steel' in midfield, with creativity from Diego and Seba, and attacks from the flanks via the full backs. We definitely need two offensive full backs.
