Problemi muscolari per Menez e Perrotta

Primi inconvenienti di stagione per la Roma gia' da qualche giorno in ritiro pre-campionato a Riscone di Brunico. Nel corso dell'allenamento mattutino, infatti, il francese Jeremy Menez e l'azzurro Simone Perrotta hanno accusato qualche problema muscolare. I due saranno sottoposti ad una risonanza magnetica per valutare l'entita' del problema.

€5 or €6 million huh, very nice indeed. Oh what it must be like to support a club with a management who knows what its fecking doing. I guess we shall never know (at least not this season anyway). Just don't say that could of been us selling him for such a nice figure. About Ferrari, what the feck is he doing going to fecking Besiktas?? He was doing well at Genoa, part of an important side, and he's left them to go to the mighty Turkish league? Er ok.

Not sure if you're being facetious. You mean that Genoa got way more than he was worth? Or do you mean that we could just as easily have signed him for an extension last year (+ not taken Loria) and now sold him off for that sum and be in the same defensive predicament but with 5 million extra in our pockets. Or both: he went for too much but we could still have attempted to keep him happy and made a middle ground offer? I'm blaming this one on Spaletti.

On another note: it's becoming increasingly clear to me that Roma really want Cruz as the alternate striker. Spal said he we're not interested in Gignac (Toulouse) when asked about the rumor. Sheva has basically pleaded for us to take him and Chelsea will let him go for free yet we're not moving. The reason he's not taken the Dynamo Kiev offer is because he's waiting to hear from us. We're not answering him because we're waiting to hear from Cruz. Cruz is not answering us because he's weighing his options (us, Napoli or possibly even Laziomerda). Plus everyone at Roma is saying that we will sign a striker and that we've got plenty of time. On a similar note, I'm thinking that Perrotta's time at Roma is over because of the way Spaletti wants is to play (some kind of 4-2-4). He wants to focus on the wings and have a strong target man upfront which could complement Totti. Given out budget, Cruz (or Sheva) are the main options. That makes Perrotta's value to Roma less attractive. This is where we could cash in on potential offers from Germany. If we do get Cruz, we might keep him because we will not have spent anything but if we need to pay for a striker then we'll definitely need to offload Perrotta.

This is because Baptista is adament that he is not leaving. The other guys are much more important because of Spal's tactics. Taddei is probably going to stay one more year but now that Motta is at rightback, Taddei's value as a cover for Cicinho's defensive lapses becomes less strong.

The other place we need reinforcements is centreback. Other than Esposito, I heard we were linked to Lugano. He's free but requests a good salary but I hear lots of good about him )leader in the lockerroom, Roberto Carlos talks highly of him, fixture on Urguayan national team, ...).

Also, anyone notice that Rosi assisted on one of Esposito's goals in the friendly yesterday? I'm pretty sure that was him (on the left). He's at our training camp.
