MILAN - FC Internazionale are pleased to announce that Thiago Motta has joined the club on a four-year deal from Genoa. The Brazilian midfielder, born in São Bernardo do Campo on 28 August 1982, has put pen to paper on a contract which will run until 30 June 2013. The documents relating to the transfer have been registered at the Italian Football League's offices.
As part of the deal, Francesco Bolzoni, Leonardo Bonucci and Riccardo Meggiorini joins Genoa on a permanent basis.

They still don't have a proper LB or CB. Their starting CB pairing is Pepe - Albiol atm which is poor, not to mention the fact that Pepe is still suspended for like 8 games from last season. 210 million in transfers is beyond crazy. I hope the club implodes half way through the season.

Jose Mourinho: Youth Is The Way To Go For Inter

The ‘Special One’ is adamant the Nerazzurri need to inject new blood into the club to avoid falling off their perch.

Jose Mourinho is preparing for his second campaign at the helm of Inter, and he wants to blood a younger team this coming season.

The Beneamata have already brought in South American pair Diego Milito and Thiago Motta this summer, but the Portuguese has urged the club to start looking to young prospects to preserve their elite status.

United consider Ibrahimovic

Having watched Karim Benzema slip through their grasp, Manchester United are now turning their attention to Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Italian Press.

The English champions cashed £80m from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo and after signing Antonio Valencia they are now looking to reinforce their attack.

United need to add goals to their side, as Ronaldo's exit is about to be followed by that of Carlos Tevez who looks set to join rivals Manchester City.

Ibrahimovic finished top scorer in Serie A last season and after winning everything in Italy he has spoken of his desire to find a new challenge.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona, but the Blaugrana are more interested in signing Valencia striker David Villa.

Ibrahimovic appears to have resigned himself to staying with Inter this summer, but United's apparent interest could unsettle him once more.

The former Ajax youngster has reservations about Inter's chances of winning the Champions League, which he feels is necessary for him to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or.

If United do sign Ibrahimovic, he will have the chance to put to rest doubts regarding his ability, which remain all too prevalent in England.

The player's agent has told Goal.com that the striker's move to Inter has collapsed...

Marko Arnautovic's proposed move from FC Twente to Italian champions Inter is off, Goal.com can exclusively reveal.

Both clubs had reached an agreement over the player's contract terms, but they were unable to reach an accord over the transfer conditions. With reports claiming the deal was up in the air, Goal.com caught up with the player's agent Rob Groener and he revealed that the deal is off for now.

"There are many structures which you have to go through in order for a transfer to take place," Groener told Goal.com.

"Inter would naturally fit a player and they wanted him, but this is a lot of money. Ultimately, both parties could not agree."

Reports claimed Inter wanted to take the player, who is recovering from injury, on a loan deal. However, the agent claimed there was never such a negotiation, and the player is now upset with the failed move.

"Marko is obviously disappointed. Will Inter try again in the winter transfer window? I do not know. I have not heard anything from Inter. We have to see what will happen," concluded the agent.

Although the agent claims the deal is off, neither Inter nor FC Twente have made an official comment just yet.

Up front, we only have Ibra, Milito, Balotelli and Quaresma atm. Obviously 4 players for 3 positions is simply not enough in 3 competitions. If I was a betting man, I'd put some money on Cassano coming now and Arna in the winter like Lomba said. I simply don't see another option at this point..
