La Roma sarÃƒÂ in ritiro a Riscone di Brunico (Bz) dal 2 al 16 luglio. La squadra svolgerÃƒÂ due allenamenti al giorno: dalle 10 alle 12.30, e dalle 16 alle 19. Sono in programma tre amichevoli: il 5 contro una rappresentativa locale, il 12 contro il Duisburg e il 16 a Bolzano contro una squadra spagnola o tedesca.

No sign of Rosi or Okaka

Okaka and Rosi are both still on holiday, edzo - because they were both involved in the Serie B play-off and so their season went for a couple of weeks longer than most. However, the Livorno president claimed yesterday to have bought Rosi amid the co-ownership negotiations, but I've not seen anything official from Roma on that.

I am all for keeping our team predominantly Roman/Italian. However, some players that we have, are the exception, and as Shield mentioned before, they can be thought of Roman, e.g, Vucinic and Mexes since they have shown loyalty and love for the city and fanhood.

However, let's not get all bent out of shape for seeing players like Rosi and Okaka Chuka being sent somewhere else. Maybe these two players (and a few others similar to them) have not panned out to be what Luciano or Conti hoped for. For, there's a big difference between some of these young player having talent and the possibility of being great vs. actually being good/great once they are seen during training or while on loan.

That might be the case why we are seing some of these players shipped somewhere else, they might not be as good as everyone thinks they are.
