So...

If Fioranelli is not able to purchase the club today and it goes up for auction, Rosella stays for the year as owner...What sort of parameters could be implemented to ensure that she cannot run the club into the ground in that year? Why would any person want to wait a year to acquire the club after they'd purchased it through auction? It all seems fairly shady...a bit ridiculous and an overall pipe-dream for us to have new ownership...there is no way this sale goes through in my mind...at least one more year of misery...

As an aside, I'd imagine that Roma is a fairly lucrative investment...the fan-base is certainly there, but if this club is ever marketed and invested in properly, it's worth could increase sevenfold...

What a fucking goof this Fioranelli guy is...why even feign interest in a team if you don't have the supposed "guarantees" to back it up...why even negotiate? Apparently he did the same thing with Bologna....this guy might be an even bigger loser than Rosella...

you guys should hear how delirious the roma fans calling into retesport are right now. there seems to be a conspiracy theory (surprised?) that has taken the city by storm over the last hour or so that there are 'outside powers' that have sabotaged the deal since things dont seem to add up - fioranelli's lawyer publicly stating that all requests and conditions were met while mediobanca (apparently somehow affiliated with moratti's business group) saying they are not satisfied, without specifying what conditions were not met.

Pauly, it's not her fault. She agreed to the sale last week but the powers that be (UC and perhaps Mediobanca) prevented this. They rather want to sell to their buddies. Bank guarantees checked out but they had some strange requests according to De Santis. Angelini sounds good but from what I hear from different Roma forums is that he's more stingier then Rosella.
