kaka' is gone. we have to pick up whatever pieces of dignity we have left and move on. these past few weeks have been even worse than istanbul.

i guess each of us is going through the klubers stages of grief. this shit hurts man, almost on a surreal level. i didn't think that football could provoke such an emotional response, be it losing in istanbul and shedding tears of disbelief, to winning in athens and shedding tears of joy. it hits me at such a deep level that the only way i can describe it is love. as gay as it sounds, you gotta call a spade a spade and therefore it is what it is. love can be a bitch sometimes, but you just have to accept what happens and move on. the only way that helped me to accept this unfortunate circumstance is to accept the most important fact of all; that players will come and go but milan will always remain.

irrespective of whats going on now, lets never forget all the joy we had with kaka'. its so disappointing how some things turn out, but you can't do anything about it except to accept it.

for me, i cant go through med school with emotional baggage like this on my mind. i just took my first exam yesterday and walked out to the news of kaka' officially joining real. it was heartbreaking. life goes on, and milan will always be there. but i am definitely going to be pulling myself out of this nonsensical love of football.

i am sure by the end of next season, pato will grow out of his second season syndrome (because he started in jan 08, so his second season was technically in jan 09) and will be busting the goals in even more. i also hope that with thiago silva we can play a higher line of defense; emulating sacchi's rigid strategies of pressing the ball while maintaining shape. its what i hope we can do.

its time to move on from kaka', we have to only look forward from now. kaka' was yesterday. pato will be tomorrow. but this summer will be one to forget for us milanistas.

i guess in sum, i'll leave a quote by samwise the brave, "But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer."

with pato, hopefully the sun will, indeed, shine out the clearer.

GALLIANI - PATO GOING NOWHERE

AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani is confident Alexandre Pato is committed to the Serie A club. The gifted Brazilian's future is uncertain after he stated his intention to speak with Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti before deciding whether he will stay at San Siro.

It has been suggested Pato could be the second major exit from Milan, following Kaka's move to Real Madrid, but Galliani appears certain he will remain with the Rossoneri.

Gazzetta dello Sport quote Galliani as saying: "Pato remains at 100 per cent. He's untouchable."

Milan supporters have already voiced their displeasure at Kaka's exit, and the transfer of Pato would only serve to cause further uproar.

Why would you want one of the most important clubs in Italy to be owned by foreigners? Regardless of where you are from in the world, you have to keep Italian Clubs Italian.

Dzeko would be the type of player we need. Tall, physical, target man. Not sure if he IS the one, but he is the type we need.

Wouldn't mind getting rid of Pirlo for the right price. Though he probably is now our no.2 player after Pato, we really need to make sweeping changes and cash in on our underperforming assets and he's one of them.But I guess he'll stay At this point, we should build a solid team regardless of names.

But we have some deadwood to clear (that clear up lots of bad salaries)

sure and keep them suck more also, just FYI some people consider italian in the 4 th spot now, after PL, La liga and bundesliga, consider me none italian ignorant bastard, but sliping from 1st to 3rd or even 4th means that something has to be done, i don't care who owns my favorite club, but i do care if i'll be enjoying watching it competing in the CL or just a feeding team for richer leagues, as you can see i don't show silivio in live TV(i wish i have, that bastard has a lot of naked chicks on his roaster), i'm watching milan week in week out.

Maldini slams Milan for selling Kaka

MILAN, June 10 - Winning the Champions League without Kaka is a Utopian dream for AC Milan, former captain Paolo Maldini said on Wednesday. Financial worries prompted the Serie A side to sell the Brazilian to Real Madrid but Maldini, who retired at the end of the season after 24 years with the Rossoneri, said he understood why fans and team mates had reacted angrily.

"Kaka is the first player of this level to be sold (by Milan). In the past an idea like that would never have been considered," the 40-year-old told a news conference. "Looking at the accounts is logical but it is also logical to set obtainable targets, thinking of winning the Champions League without Kaka is a Utopian dream."

Milan, who want Vfl Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, have said no other high profile names will leave despite Brazil forward Alexandre Pato and Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo questioning their futures.

"Before leaving Milan, Pirlo would think about it not 10 but at least 100 times," Maldini said. "I don't believe there will be another soap opera like Kaka with Pato. He must stay here."

Maldini, yet to decide on his future off the pitch, was upset with Milan's hierarchy for not outwardly condemning supporter banners criticising the captain during his final San Siro appearance last month. But he made it clear he did not want a simmering feud and backed owner Silvio Berlusconi's decision to appoint rookie Leonardo to replace Carlo Ancelotti, who left for Chelsea.

"Leonardo is a gamble but in general the president has won these types of bets. Bringing in innovation and youth is not a bad thing, it is a courageous choice," he said.

cassano is a player i admire, if he can keep his temper, his performance would be phenomenal, but again, if we got dzeko, having ronaldinho and pato, someone got root on the bench, because none of which can lay back and defend.
