Kanu for Milan return?
According to reports in Italy, PortsmouthÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s former Inter striker Nwankwo Kanu could be set for a sensational return to Milan, but this time playing for the red and black side of the city. Whispers suggest that Milan have put together a list of possible additions for the January transfer window as Brazilian striker RonaldoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s fitness is still in doubt. The RossoneriÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s transfer guru Ariedo Braida is known to be a keen admirer of the Nigerian international and is allegedly weighing up a bid for the 32-year-old hitman.

mike riley will be our referee against benfica. i don't like this guy, but i don't expect a biased game from him. if anything, he will hurt both teams with unnecessary bookings. gila and pippo better not dive, depending on which one plays.

regarding kanu, no thanks.

I would've expected him to concentrate more on football than entertaining the paparazzi world with such poses :evil:

I don't wanna talk about the league too much, but Roma are certainly a worry, I don't see Juventus as a team that can stay in the hunt for long, Inter certainly will, but Roma right now seems the form team. Nonetheless, while we're slightly off the pace now, we should be relieved that non of them are as boringly consistent as Capello's Juve, refs or no refs, they were quite formidable in Serie A (Europe is of course a different story)

Tomorrow we begin the title defence for the trophy we love the most, cant wait for the game, and the adrenaline rush that comes with CL, and CL only....also lets hope Rui gets a nice welcome, so that he goes back home feeling well despite getting 0 points

Should also add its critical for us to seal the qualification ASAP in this round, if you look at December, or rather the only 3 weeks of December, the schedule is simply brutal for us, we have Inter and Juve games, also the trip to Japan for the intercontinental cup, so the last thing we need is a do-or-die matchday 6 game like the one we had vs Schalke a few years ago, I'd hope we have this thing clinched after matchday 5

I know, Roma seem to be the team to beat right now, winning games without playing particularly well and all that...Anyway, they have a real test ahead of them over the next 6? weeks...contenders and pretenders should be sorted out by then...

Rileys an ass...though both teams should suffer from his incompetence...He's not the Pool fan, is he?

yeah, this photo of clarence "c-note" seedorf in his everyday attire was downloaded from the club official site, actually. he normally wears a purple mink coat matching his hat, but it was too hot on that day.

Ancelotti Already Eyeing Moscow Showpiece

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti preferred not to look back on last weekend's draw at Siena in his press conference ahead of tomorrow's Champions League debut against Benfica.

The ugly away game at Siena, where Milan escaped defeat only thanks to an unlikely last-minute equaliser by defender Alessandro Nesta, is still fresh in coach Carlo Ancelotti's mind. However, tomorrow Milan's favorite competition, the Champions League, returns with the home game against Benfica, so there isn't much time to look back.

"Against the Portuguese, we have to be the European champions and not the team seen at the Artemio Franchi stadium," he said, "perhaps in Europe it's actually less difficult because there is a more open mentality and you get more space to attack.

"I'm convinced we will change gears, Dida included: I have complete confidence in him, he's resolved the problems to his shoulder and he's training well."

The European Cup has always been the declared objective of the club in the Silvio Berlusconi era, Ancelotti knows that and doesn't hide away.

"Along with the Club World Cup, the Champions League is our primary objective," the coach confirmed, "we know that it's difficult to repeat ourselves in Europe and we'll need luck from March onwards: everything will have to go well.

"But our intention remains to reach Moscow: to do that we need to start winning tomorrow, even against an opponent that has [former Milan playmaker Manuel] Rui Costa in their team, a friend who we still respect a lot. He still has the qualities to make the difference," Ancelotti concluded.
