With a smile on his face, JosÃƒÂ© Mourinho announced what he will say to his players in the dressing room before they take to the pitch against Siena tomorrow night - a clash that the Inter coach described as a "match point, because it will be the first match in which we can win the championship. If Inter win, they win the Scudetto and I think that this situation can change something in the players' minds by itself. Knowing that you can leave the pitch as Italian champions can be decisive."

With Maicon, Francesco Bolzoni, Hernan Crespo, Maxwell and Nelson Rivas out injured and Julio Cruz unavailable through suspension, Mourinho has a reduced squad for Sunday evening's visit of Siena. The Portuguese has called up 20 players for the Serie A Week 36 fixture and is keeping them focused on this match only, even if a Milan defeat away to Udinese tonight will secure the title for Inter. "The match in Udine doesn't depend on us, we won't be able to score goals, defend or mark Kaka or Seedorf," said Mourinho during his pre-match press conference. "It will be an important match for the teams who face each other on the pitch. At 22:30 my team will proceed with the usual pre-match retreat."

Millions of Nerazzurri fans are waiting to celebrate the club's seventeenth Serie A title but JosÃƒÂ© Mourinho doesn't seem to share the euphoria that surrounds the Inter environment, "because who is outside of here doesn't have to go on the pitch tomorrow. I can't waste energy thinking about Udinese-Milan if there's a 66% chance that the game Inter have to play tomorrow can be decisive. We will obviously watch the early fixture on TV, just like we do every Saturday, but we will watch it without any special emotions."

In this way the money invested wouldn't be exaggerated," said the Inter coach, who will enter the history books if his team wins the Italian title in his first season in charge. "We still haven't won anything. If it happens I will be proud because it's not easy to win something after only one year leading a team. It has happened to me in both England and Italy and this is obviously a reason to be proud."

Robert Acquafresca Unlikely To Stay With Inter - Agent

The Italy U-21 international may not achieve his dream of playing in the Nerazzurri kit next season...

After two consecutive loan spells at Cagliari, it seems Inter owned striker Robert Aquafresca has a number of possible options for 2009-10, according to his agent, Paolo Fabbri.

"I've spoken with the management of Inter and it looks like they want to give away the player again," Acquafresca's representative told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It's certain Genoa wants him, but his future is not written in stone."

The agent was quick not to rule out a return to Inter as he reveals no decisions will be made until the end of the 2008-09 campaign.

"[Inter president] Massimo Moratti does not want to talk about the market until the Scudetto is sewn on the Inter shirt. After they have the certainty of winning the championship, then he will communicate his decisions."

Meanwhile, Napoli have also expressed interest in acquiring the half-Polish, half-Italian star.

"[Inter director Marco] Branca has told me there are two other teams interested in Acquafresca. I can say Napoli would be ideal for him, a tandem with [Ezequiel] Lavezzi would be spectacular," he concluded.

Chelsea Star Didier Drogba's Agent To Meet Inter Directors Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Report

The Nerazzurri are considering a move for the Chelsea man this summer...

Inter are moving closer to signing Chelsea hitman Didier Drogba after an agent was in Milan to meet with the club's directors, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.

The report claims Issa Traore, one of the player's agents, was in the fashion capital, leading to speculation that Jose Mourinho is pushing to sign the striker. Inter could face stiff competition from Milan, with voices suggesting the Rossoneri are set to rekindle their interest in the Ivorian.

Although the Italians are seemingly interested, reports in England claim Manchester City and French club Marseille are also keen. Both sides are reportedly ready to offer Chelsea Ã¢â€šÂ¬15 million to sign the hitman.

Both the Nerazzurri and Il Diavolo would be ready to match such an offer. There are fears Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave at the end of term. Although Inter are close to Diego Milito, Drogba would be an ideal replacement for the Sweden international if he leaves.

In addition, voices claim Drogba was seen in Milan last Sunday in a club with several Nerazzurri stars.
