They be tapping up those players who are under age, only in Spain and Italy those players are paid minimum wages for their first contract while in England they get paid 10times or more the minimum wage. I've got a good one for ya. There's this fella here in work – my new place that is – who arrives in to work with a Totti-Roma bike helmet. I was like 'what the feck you support Roma?!', and he said he did. I thought what are the chances of finding another Roma supporter over here, its a small world etc. etc. That was grand, we got to talking about Roma and Spalletti and the future of the club and what not, and he knew his stuff. The conversation, and subsequent Roma conversations, kind of fell apart when I asked him does he support any other teams or are Roma your main team. You can see where this is going, i'm sure. He said yes, he does support another team, from England, the north-west... and it wasn't Everton. I was disgusted. I said 'you do realise there is a bit of history between Roma and Liverfekkin'wankscum, yeah?', but it was lost. Since then discussing Roma with this person has not been high on my list of priorities.

I can't keep pace with all of the information regarding Roma. Today, Edoardo Caltagirone, the brother of Gaetano, claims he wants to build a new stadium for Roma. But he said such a project would require an investment by the club. So, he went on to say that there is no way under the Sensi ownership such a thing could happen. ["Costruire uno stadio, però, significa investire ingenti capitali che, al momento, è difficile immaginare possano arrivare direttamente dalla famiglia Sensi..."]

He said he has even spoken to Francesco Angelini regarding the kind of investment it would take to accomplish this project. Why? Because these are serious men who can get that kind of money. They are not flippant little neophytes with delusions of grandeur. I take this as a great sign because we all know Rosella is delusional to think that while under her direction, Roma can really endeavor to build a new stadium. Clearly, these comments today are directed at Rosella to shock her back to reality and illustrative that she must sell the team for Roma to succeed in the future.

What we have been hoping for a few years is finally coming true...or at least close to happening, some Italian/Romans seriously talking about buying AS Roma.
I can not imagine Rosella refusing to sell this time...the interested parties are Italian, the fans asked her to go away...she will get killed if she doesn't accept the offer. After all those talks/rumours, I guess all the tifosi are waiting for it to happen now, start over with a project and some competent people in charge. If she refuses, how would she be even able to show herself in Rome?

If Roma's parent company is in such a bad financial position, surely their creditors are in a position to force the sale through if a fair offer is made for the club, thus preventing Rosella unreasonably blocking any potential sale?
