Oi oi back off on the Spalletti talk. He ain't go nowhere. Well, em, to be honest, he may leave, considering our management is permanently stuck up Rosella's hole and he may get tired of the way things are done at Roma. I would hate to see him leave, but if he did, Milan wouldn't be a bad choice for him, albeit a step down. Better than seeing him at Rubentus.

Do we really? Our three most successful coaches were certainly not "superstars" when we hired them. I wouldn't mind Spaletti at all; we'll be playing some very nice football for one...and lets not undermine his efforts for Roma; he came close enough to the Scudetto last season with a squad far inferior to Inters (and ours, on paper at least).
I think its the right time for him to take that step up and see what he can do with one of the bigger clubs. Rijkaard's still my first choice though, it does help that he's played for us as well. But it looks like all this talk for a new coach is a bit premature; I don't think Carlo will be going anywhere for the next season at least.

Milan are currently in second place in Serie A and are playing some outstanding football, which has consequently seen them leapfrog Juventus for the right to automatically qualify for next season’s Champions League.

In fact, the Rossoneri have won three matches on the trot, and they will be keen to make it four in a row this weekend, when they play host to an inspired Palermo outfit.

The latest reports from Corriere dello Sport however indicate that the Milanese club could be dealt a big blow in the lead-up to that match, as there are doubts emerging over the fitness of their starlet Alexandre Pato.

The 19-year-old picked up a knock in last weekend’s 5-1 demolition of Torino, and the club are unwilling to risk him in their upcoming contest if he is deemed not fully fit.

If Pato is to miss out, then it is expected that Ronaldinho will take his place in the starting eleven, following his impressive substitute appearance in the Toro match in the final half hour of play.

Carlo Ancelotti will already be without a large number of long term casualties including Alessandro Nesta, Christian Abbiati, Gennaro Gattuso and Kakha Kaladze, whilst Daniele Bonera is also doubtful for the encounter.

Milan and Palermo are set to do battle at the San Siro stadium this Sunday, with the play scheduled to get underway at 15:00 CET.

flamini starts at RB again, i hope he doesnt get too unhappy about it. but seedorf starts in place of pato, i would've gone for ronaldinho. seedorf is overdue for a good game though, and he was rocking in the midweek friendly, so who knows.

we're playing really well. several players are in the zone today, including kaka, ambro and pippo. i'd say that we've been playing well in general since pippo's been back and starting which confirms the fact that we needed a target man. he just gives our midfield so much more space.

they're not nearly reactive enough. they let our problems continue until after we missed out on the cl when they were clear to all the fans. i don't even demand that they be proactive anymore just that they react fast.

we got lucky with the first penalty call, but as tec said earlier, palermo got so many lucky calls from the refs against us in the past, so this was karma.

kaka' was on fire, and ambrosini was a beast.

what did you guys think of flamini at RB? i thought he was above average, not as good as vs. torino. but he can definitely improve.

genoa lost to bologna, and juve drew with reggina.

we are 2 points above juve, and 9 points above 4th placed fiorentina.

i think our automatic qualification in next years CL is reasonably assured.
