Fabio Quagliarella Can’t Pick Between Juventus & Inter

The sought-after Udinese ace has claimed he has no idea where he will play next season because both clubs are such heavyweights.

Press reports in the peninsula have suggested that Serie A giants Juventus and Inter will continue their rivalry in the Calciomercato this summer as both clubs have reportedly set their sights on Udinese and Italy striker Fabio Quagliarella.
Juve have long been keeping tabs on the Neapolitan hitman but Inter have now allegedly joined the hunt after coach Jose Mourinho sang his praises earlier this month.

I heard somewhere that there werent blatantly racist chants, just boos and other insults geared towards Balotelli, interpreted as racist because he is black.
But i'm not sure, perhaps someone could clear that up.
However, whether or not there were racist chants is besides the point.

You guys generalize Juve fans by the actions of few, when Inter fans are amongst the craziest fans in Italy....perhaps i should say you guys are all animals because some Inter fans shot flares at Dida, or brought a vespa into the stands and so on....

As for Balotelli, he's great, but to be honest i wouldnt want him on the italian team unless he grows up, i could care less who he plays for. If he's a moron, what team he plays for doesnt change anything. He definitely has time to change, and hopefully he will change and not become another Cassano case

Inter are following Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o and Valencia star David Villa with interest, according to Italian football agent Vincenzo Morabito.

A number of reports have linked the Italian champions with many of Europe's top hitmen for their next campaign. The Nerazzurri have been looking for someone to partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front as they prepare to strengthen for next season. Although Inter have not confirmed their interest in Eto'o or Villa, Morabito believes the club are trying to pounce.

"Inter have been tracking Eto'o for a long time as his contract expires in 2010," the agent told Controcampo.

"I think Eto'o is a possible objective. In addition, the Nerazzurri are following Villa, but Chelsea and Barcelona are after him as well. I wouldn't exclude the arrival of Eto'o or [Carlos] Tevez even."

Voices from the peninsula imply that the Italian club are trying to find a replacement for out-of-sorts Adriano following last week's contract rescission talk.

Dejan, the only other valid alternative i see for Diego is Ribery. Although getting him would be more difficult than getting Diego.

if we can get mikel for free, I would like to get D'Agostino from Udinese for the deep playmaker role along with Diego/Ribery.

May be Mourinho is going to give the 4-3-3 another try. We did not do that badly against Juve with that formation.

Adriano to rescind today?

Inter could sever ties with troubled hitman Adriano today, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Brazilian marksman went AWOL after a World Cup 2010 qualifier earlier in the month.

And Adriano has declared his intention to take a break from the game in order to reconsider his future.

The Nerazzurri have supported the player's decision, but they are keen to free themselves from any financial obligation.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a mutual rescission is very close to being agreed.

It is expected that Inter will put a clause in the deal to ensure that Adriano doesn't join another major European side within the next year.

More news could arrive by the end of the day and Adri's eight-year spell with the Beneamata may be over.

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is counting the days until he captures the scudetto in his first season as a coach in Serie A. Mourinho's club goes into this weekend's game at Napoli 10 points clear of AC Milan and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri only managed to draw their previous two games, including last weekend's 1-1 stalemate against Juve, but the Portuguese coach said: "If Inter wins the scudetto it will be something very important for my career because having won the Premiershit title in my first year in England, I would win the scudetto in my first year in Italy.

"And in my opinion Inter will win the scudetto. We haven't won it yet but we will. Juventus and Milan need to get back 10 points on us.

"We still have six games left to play in which, according to me, we will clinch eight or nine points.

"Even if the other two were to manage 18 points in the last six games, something which is possible, Inter would still end with more points.

"I reiterate, we are not the champions yet, but we will be."

In-form AC Milan entertain Palermo at the San Siro on the back of three consecutive triumphs. Their 5-1 win over Torino in the last round allowed the Rossoneri to leapfrog Juve into second in the table.

Juve will be desperate to bounce back from their painful midweek Coppa Italia elimination when they meet rock-bottom Reggina at the Oreste Granillo Stadium. Claudio Ranieri's side lost 2-1 against Lazio in Turin, much to their fans' disappointment with their team set to finish the season empty-handed.

Fourth-place Genoa will be boosted by the return of Diego Milito from injury when they travel to relegation strugglers Bologna. A Genoa defeat would benefit Fiorentina, who are two points behind the fourth and final Champions League qualifying spot.

MILAN - FC Internazionale announces that the contract with the player Adriano Leite Ribeiro has been terminated by mutual consent, with effect from 1 April 2009.

The documents were registered at the Italian Football League's offices this morning.

Inter thanks Adriano for his 74 goals and the 8 years spent together.
