in all fairness, all of our close rivals in the league have stuttered, so we have to take advantage of this. flamini has played as a fullback before, so its all good. maybe if mattioni gets a runout later in the game. hes been doing well in the primavera, thats the word on the playground at least...

hes doing great bombing forward, but he hasn't been tested much defensively.

everybody is playing great so far, ambrosini has been a fucking rock.

if we put away a couple more goals, lets hope we can see mattioni later.

Yeah I agree that defensively we werent tested, but I like to see an offensively minded fullback really piling up the pressure on the opponents, this also makes Pirlo's life so much easier too as he has a legit outlet on the flank to vary our attacking options. Last time we had such an explosive FB was Cafu circa 04-05 but this is only one game so Im not getting ahead of myself

On the plus side, Flamini is just excelling today everywhere in the pitch, I really like this guy, along with Pato are the 2 best pick ups for us last few summers

Milan have been warned by Parma that they will face a tough battle if the try to call back Alberto Paloschi for next season.

The young Italian hitman joined the Gialloblu from Milan on a co-ownership deal last summer when they were relegated to Serie B. Paloschi has been in hot form for the Emiliani this season. He has struck ten goals in Serie B, helping to steer Parma back towards Serie A.

Speculation in the Italian media has linked Paloschi with a return to the San Siro this summer, however, Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi has thrown down the gauntlet to the Italian heavyweights.

"It's difficult to talk about the market at the moment as we are trying to think about reaching promotion," Ghirardi told Sportmediaset.it.

"However, we will fight for Paloschi until the end. Paloschi is half ours and half Milan's.

"I can assure everyone that it will be a hard battle that we will not give up."
