So why the feck wont we spend money on decent players,i know there is been wise with money but surely its better to spend on a player say Benzema who will gaurentee goals and some sort of future investment than spend lots of money on a player who is past his best and looking for something new.

i think its the list of what the club is worth. what it doesn't show that about 54% of man.utd's value is of debt, and 107% of arsenal's is of debt as well.

uefa seriously needs to do something about that.

Ancelotti refuses to comment on Chelsea reports

ROME, April 10 - Carlo Ancelotti on Friday refused to comment on media reports that he had agreed to become Chelsea's manager next season, but inferred that he planned to stay at AC Milan.

"(Milan chief executive Adriano) Galliani spoke clearly during the week and I don't think it's necessary to add anything," Ancelotti told a news conference when asked about the reports.

On Wednesday, Galliani denied speculation that Milan were looking to hire Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri, saying the club and Ancelotti were tied by a contract running until June 2010. "Allegri has the capabilities to train any team. But if he wants to train here, I think he'll have to wait," Ancelotti added.

The 49-year-old coach has repeatedly said he intends to serve out his contract after being made favourite to succeed interim manager Guus Hiddink at Chelsea and being linked to Real Madrid if Florentino Perez becomes club president again.

Third-placed Milan are 14 points behind Serie A leaders Inter and Ancelotti has been told by club bosses that third spot is a minimum requirement this term. Ancelotti, Serie A's longest-serving manager having been appointed in 2001, led Milan to European Cup triumphs in 2003 and 2007 but has captured only one league title, in 2004

"Our presidents have been devastated by this tragedy and after a series of phone calls with Della Valle, Galliani, Moratti and others, all together, from the smallest to the biggest clubs, decided to create a unique fund of solidarity. It's the first time that the Lega Calcio organises something like this and everyone, according to their possibilities, gave their utmost availability in economic terms. The initiatives taken individually by some clubs will contribute to the Lega's funds, which will follow the destination of the resources directly."

Carlo should leave at the end of the season, I've always liked him and will appreciate what he's done but now we fucking need a change.

Anyways, I see that we won. I didnt watch the game though, so any comments would be helpful. Why Flamini was dropped or Pato playing at the right of midfield (based on formation I see) is so fucking typical of Carlo nowadays. I used to plan my day based on the match time, now its the other way around. And it looks Seedorf gave us the win, there you go guys, this justifies his untouchable spot in the starting lineup for the last 3 years and for the next 3 as well

Watched the second half...should've stuck to my resolution of not watching when Maldini's not playing. No real insight to provide really; after Seedorf's goal we sat back and absorbed the pressure...or at least we watched them attack and attack and tried to help them out with a couple of assists but luckily? enough didn't concede. No thanks to our defense which was disorganized and clumsy and found a way to fuck up the easiest clearances. Not that our stagnant midfield or isolated forward did any better.

Am still in two minds on the Ancelotti situation...will see how the season turns out but thats what I thought last season.

dida was probably our MoM, he made 3 fantastic saves that saved our asses.

i think we started off with a 4-4-2, with pato on the left and seedorf on the right.

pato runs with his head down, he was beating guys vs. lecce, but today he was just missing open players and he didn't pass at all. seedorf was shit today, but i suppose his goal made up for it, but he still sucked.

with ambrosini in the middle, i guess carlo had him help the defense with the long balls towards bogdani. big target men have been our weakness recently, and bogdani did work a bunch of openings for chievo.

flamini came on and did really well, so lets hope hes back in the lineup next week. pirlo was alright, and he kept things ticking.

not our best performance, but we did alright in the end.

i think its genius by carlo, making beckham think that hes a first teamer so he commits for the rest of the season, but as soon as that happens send his ass to the bench. the best part is people are asking more questions of ronaldinho and shevchenko being benched than beckham.

and at the rate juve are dropping points, we can seriously consider second place. i think we're only 2 points behind them, and we will face tham at home in a couple weeks.
