MILAN - Esteban Cambiasso has extended his contract with F.C. Internazionale until 30 June 2014. The new contract has been registered at the Italian Football League's offices.

its a stupid move by him if he leaves... he's doing well here (well, except europe).. but you can field another striker for europe with the BIG squad that you have.

He is already doing a stupid move. He's getting the Inter fans to turn against him, even though till yesterday afternoon, we all simply adored the grass he steps on.
If he is doing this, I hope for his good that he has something up his sleeve (maybe there is already some agreement with Barcelona or something), cause if he's creating this issue because he wants a better wage, than that is totally unacceptable. He is already by far the best paid player on earth, even more than the likes of CR7, Messi & Kaka', how can he expect anything better than what he already has?
If he wants a squad capable of winning the CL, maybe he should do a Mea Culpa for why we arent still in that competition. Last week I read a statistic about Ibra, and till now he has never scored a goal in the knock out stages of the CL, not just with us but even when he used to play with Juve & Ajax.
Now I dont want to be too harsh on Ibra. He is right now our most important player and leader, and he has not yet actually declared anything. But I guess he should really ponder his next moves. If he wants a move, fine by me. We get the money, decrease the annual salaries by 12M/year and re-invest the money on other players.
But if he wants yet another pay-rise, then Thank you very much for what you've given us but fuck off.

Exactly Lomba. Right now we are dependent on him but no one is bigger than the team. If he wants to leave let him leave, we can buy 2-3 players from the cash we would get from his sale. If he goes to barca then we can get eto'o in return plus cash.

I think Moratti has replied intelligently. We don't want him to leave but every player has a price.

You cannot watch Zlatan IbrahimovicÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s delightful lob against Reggina without hailing it as pure genius. File it alongside the one against Bologna earlier this season, his superb effort for Juventus against Roma a few years back, that sensational Euro 2004 flick against Italy, the equally as impressive Euro 2008 effort against Greece and his jaw-dropping dribble for Ajax Amsterdam against NAC Breda back in his formative Eredivisie days.

Yet every time you see one of those masterpieces it leaves you wondering why he fails to deliver at the moment his club needs that magic the most. The Champions League has become the barometer of brilliance in world football, but in the last five seasons Ibra has failed to save either Inter or Juventus from elimination. Manchester United, Liverfekkin'wankscum twice, Valencia and Arsenal all faced 180 minutes of the Swede star and progressed unhindered, each without letting him score.

Even back at Ajax he shone in group-stage matches but stuttered when the going got tough, hitting just one in the second group stage in 2003-04 and drawing a blank against Milan in the quarter-finals of 2002-03. When Juventus did reach the last eight he failed to score in the second round games that got them there. If Inter were smart (which they're not), they would pick up Inler and D'Agostino from Udinese.
