As for a Dinho - Pippo partnership, I don't like that Ancelotti said this "Ronaldinho has worked hard and is in good shape, but so is [Pippo] Inzaghi"...I would've thought a more direct comparison would be with Seedorf.

We need a true target man, a poacher. And, along with the defender, saying we only need these 2 is inaccurate unless we assume Gourcuff is back, otherwise, we still need a move in midfield to get us a young, creative player. Oh, and a young, offensive fullback too

man, i don't think we will be getting any midfielders.

your great post of galliani's logic said it best, beckham will come in the winter transfer window, so that will be like a new signing...

but i think a player like gourcuff is vital, a midfielder who can attack well but also help keep shape in defense.

mattioni has barely played, and he sucked in the friendly vs. the rangers.

we've been linked with sakho and taiwo, both young LB's in the french league with great potential.

I think the result is good, I said before the game a tie is good in this one

Dinho is clearly not in shape and him and Seedorf are both blowing, I think both should be benched at this rate

Galliani attacked by Ultras
Monday 23 March, 2009
Napoli Ultras attacked Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani and trashed his car as he left the San Paolo last night.

Galliani had just watched Milan draw 0-0 with Napoli and was on his way to the airport when his car was stopped by around 50 Ultras.

The Ultras refused to let him pass and began to throw stones at his car, breaking a window and prompting his police escort to call for back up.

Fears for Galliani's safety increased when the car got a puncture, leaving it even more exposed to attacks.

Galliani did reach the airport in time, though. He boarded the plane chartered by Milan and discussed the game with Carlo Ancelotti.

Napoli fans were aggrieved when Marek Hamsik had a valid goal disallowed for offside after 37 minutes.

Tensions rose throughout the game and a Molotov cocktail was thrown at Milan fans. Luckily it failed to explode.
