On a side note, considering De Rossi has the day off, he went to the stadio Flaminio to watch the rugby against the French, and said there is always a great atmosphere at the rugby. The Italians have improved as a rugby nation and have some great players, but is there much interest in Rome for the rugby or is it only small, certain pockets of the country which follow the game? Todays game didn't go to well for them though, they got trounced 8-50 by the French to consign them to the wooden spoon. Ireland play Wales tonight with the Grand Slam up for grabs (on just before Roma-Juve).

At least we will get to see this Filipe kid get some meaningful action. Well I say kid but he is 22. He did come on against Siena I think as a late sub but I didn't see him, I don't think he is up to a whole lot?

We didn't really get a good look at Felipe when he came on against Sienna, Ed. I think he had about two or three touches on the ball. Lets just hope he has a good game today. This one is gonna be tough to watch.

Well, I guess that turned out pretty much as most of us expected. The boys tried pretty hard - though it's hard not to have mixed feelings about the front three. I suppose we can take some consolation from the fact that the Waterboy managed to contribute another candidate for miss of the season.
