After the emergence of youth team member Davide Santon into the Inter line-up, Maxwell has seemingly lost his place at left-back to the 18-year-old starlet and is considering his options.

The player's agent, Mino Raiola, has confirmed that the 27-year-old will move clubs at the end of the season, listing some possible high-profile destinations for his client.

"He has a lot of quality, but he is not as physical a player as [Inter coach Jose] Mourinho wants. The conclusion is that they will part ways," revealed Raiola to Radio Radio.

"Maxwell is a typical player who can go to any European club. I'm glad that he was praised by a good coach like [Milan's Carlo] Ancelotti. I can see him joining a team like AC Milan, Arsenal, Real Madrid, or Barcelona."

The 27-year-old joined Inter from Ajax in the summer of 2006 and has made over 70 league appearances for the Beneamata during that period. He has rarely featured in the side since a 3-1 loss to Atalanta in January.

Just like we did with Borriello; while he hasn't got a chance to shine yet, he looked a completely different player, in his limited appearances for us this season, to the one we loaned/half sold to Genoa. I think the same will apply with Gourcuff; he is now first choice for France and his confidence will be much higher than during his time with us before.
But like you said, all this is speculation but I wouldn't want to lose him without getting an adequate replacement or addition to the squad.

replacement for gourcuff? we should worry about replacing maldini and nesta. and inzaghi . we should never have let crespo go. true, he would have been leaving us after this season anyway, but we would have had so much more to show for the last few years had we held on to him. we have been in dire need of a target man so many times.

Ancelotti makes ultimatum

Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti will only stay with the Rossoneri if they make two big signings this summer, according to the Italian Press.

The revelation comes just hours after Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani announced the club would be making severe cutbacks.

Ancelotti is believed to want Chelsea's Brazilian defender tender Alex and Arsenal's 25-year-old striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Rumours have also linked Milan with a move for Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o, who is enjoying a great season with the Blaugrana.

The significant difference of opinion between Ancelotti and Galliani could force a change on the bench at Milan.

Ancelotti is being courted by Real Madrid and could take his services there if he doesn't get what he wants from Galliani.

Florentino Perez, the businessman running for the Real Madrid presidency, has intimated he would give Ancelotti between £60m and £70m to spend if he were to move to the Bernabéu.

Meanwhile Galliani has laid down the law at Milanello, stressing that Ancelotti must lead the Rossoneri to a third place finish in Serie A if he is to keep his job.

Ancelotti is on course to realise that objective with 10 games remaining until the end of the season.

Milan currently lie third in the League and are back in action this weekend when they welcome relegation threatened Lecce to San Siro.

its a catch 22 for us, we want the signings but we want carlo out as well. the BF said today that we are in the market for a central defender, and as this article says, it could be tender Alex from chelsea. hes strong, but hes awfully slow.

MID.....We're already set with our group of Champions, if we get Gorky then great, and dont forget we have a champion in Beckham to join us in January 2010
FWD.....Boriello is a new signing for us. Im willing to bet anything right now that the BF will say this this in the summer. No signings there

We might make some other minor moves to end the summer with a net spending of 0
