Of course he is Shield. It would have been suicidal had Mou not included Vieira in the CL list. I know he is more injured than fit, but he can be quite useful when fit. These are the players chosen for this match -

Sorry I thought Viera was left out of your remitted CL squad list, but it most of only been for the first-leg. I don't know if playing him from the start is a good idea. He is seriously lacking in fitness and energy, and the last time I seen him play when he came on against us he was seriously off the pace and looked a shadow of a good defensive-midfielder. There's not going to be much room or time on the ball against a high-tempo ManUre midfield, and I'm sure Viera will get a very warm reception from the United fans should he play. I would start Muntari ahead of him, who may not be all that comfortable on the ball, but his energy and work-rate alone justifies a starting place for him to hackle the United players and not give them time on the ball.

Dejan, Ferguson will probably select a strike partnership of Rooney and Berbatov, even though he is under a lot of (positive) pressure to select Tevez after his performance against Fulham in the FA(g) Cup, in which he scored two goals and basically ran the match. I doubt he'd field the three of them from the start, but I wouldn't entirely rule it out either.

Jose Mourinho ended up at the centre of a storm last week. The Portuguese blasted the Italian media, poured scorn on rival Serie A sides Roma and Milan and accused Juventus of being favoured by referees.
According to press reports, the Portuguese is unsettled in the peninsula and could sever his ties with the Nerazzurri after a single season in the summer.

1) Samuel will definately play
2) Mourinho will most probably start with Balotelli & Stankovic behind the main striker.

Both IMO are very good news considering our situation.

Shield you may be right about Vieira & Muntari. Vieira is still lacking match fitness but lately even Muntari has been quite off form. The reason why I would take Vieira instead of Muntari is his aereal abilities, which will come handy when defending and attacking on set-pieces. Also, Vieira is more comfortable than Muntari under pressure, considering their carreers.

Ferdinand jackass has started training so it's highly likely that he will play tomorrow.

i think i am all for the 4-3-2-1 system. We need to control the midfield so stankovic and balotelli need to help out. Ibra will be left isolated but that's ok as long as we don't concede. If needed we can push balotelli further forward later in the game.

Break legs, Oily? If that was the case we'd line up down the centre of the park with Rivas, Matrix, Vieira and Muntari. And congrats on Pool going through. I think I'd swap half of our team to have some sort of partnership like Torres - Gerrard do. Some of the plays tonight we're simply insane.

Not long now and exactly like the first leg, I'm not in the slightest bit nervous; a huge advantage of not expecting a result. Does anybody know what we're actually up against tomorrow? The WORLD CHAMPIONS, TOP of their league, with their FULL TEAM at OLD TRAFFORD. I'd consider it our most successful season in 50 years if we manage to even get a score draw.
