Posso verificare le parole del Gio sul nostro allenatore…se non fosse per il fatto che si sarebbe caduto nella merda la domenica sera, sono sicuro che Spalletti avrebbe detto l'arbitro di andare bastone il suo fischio sul suo culo scopante dopo la partita! Il nostro “mister" non era piacevole affatto nella sua intervista della TV e certamente ha detto l'abbondanza altrimenti!

maldini, a similar onservation can be made with respect to roma. vucinic (and menez) and riise seemed to have little problem getting by maicon. motta was doing the same on santon's side too. i dont really think it was all that different.

Pauly, around this time last year I was involved elsewhere in a debate about the use (or not) of modern technology to settle disputed calls or even just to prove the correctness of others.

I'm very much in favour of camera evidence. We've all heard the FIFA/Uefa stance on how it would spoil the original spirit of the game, on how it would spoil the continuity by making it too much a stop-start affair, on how it would demean the officials' authority and other reasons which frankly verge on the ridiculous in this day and age. There's now far too much at stake in every sense, and in a time of high technology there is simply no need to rely solely on human judgement, either in error or...let's just say otherwise!

On that point I am well aware the guy(s) operating the a/v equipment could cause a malfunction, again accidentally or otherwise, deleting the evidence at a crucial stage...

Nonetheless I maintain our game has reached the point where technology has become a requirement to resolve any and all questionable decisions, as happens in other sports. We already use it in football for disciplinary purposes, let's not forget, and I don't go with the FIFA/Uefa argument that it's only permissable under those circumstances as the game has ended and therefore play is not interfered with!

Yeah Carlo, its a shame that the 'higher powers' for whatever reasons they have, have taken this long, or refuse to take care of this glearing and ill situation. No doubt that camara evidence, as opposed to human perception, which more often than not is more liable to err, would solve much of the problem.

All I know is that its a damm shame. If these cats that make the rules and dictate the norms and rules of the game had much more to lose, I am almost certain that something would certainly be done, and quickly.

Let us hope that we live long enough to see some change made, either through the implementation of two more assistants, or camara evidence. But my estimation is that we live in a day and age where technology permiates every single aspect of our lives, so why not our beloved football?
