Looking through your comments, guys...

Professore, you make the point our lads were shagged out by the end...

I think most of us, yourself included, realise that all too often we have to work far harder than we should have to...we take the advantage, score goals, then undo all the good work by conceding unnecessary goals. Some cannot of course be avoided for a number of reasons. In tonight's case Sky Italia showed us De Rossi clearly got the ball, not Balotelli...

It would seem that under present circs we are obligated to rely on outscoring our opposition as we have had to do for the past 2Ã‚Â½ years to win many of our games...let's face it, with our track record, keeping clean sheets is easier done in a bordello!

Edge & Fonz, yeah, I think almost all of us would have taken the draw if we had been offered it before kick-off but as Smiley said, because of the way the match panned out, the draw was hard to take, and Pocari hits it squarely on the head by summing up our thoughts that we could have still won it at the death...

For now at least, we just have to accept our fate of a share of the spoils...

Maldini, presumably you mean Balotelli...I may forgive him one day if he gets our Azzurrini a goal by making the most of a situation. But he didn't need to act out the 2 gestures afterward...

Giamoldo. I think you should change your username to 'rigore'. You have never seen a penalty call that you did not agree with. It was a joke, and not a PK. Period, end of story. Don't give me the bull shit about "in Italy". It was a fucking dive and that was all. Still, we had plenty of chances to put the game away.

First of all, it should be Calcio di rigore...

Factor in that it was fucking 430am and that I actually set my alarm to get up and watch it. Every replay that was shown in HK, made it look like a penalty.. in Italy. Let's face it, Balotelli might have fallen easily, but his path to the ball was blocked and that's usually a foul outside of the area. I think the argument could be made, would Roma have gotten the penalty at the San Siro? Probably not, since we (I've done it live!) have all seen us screwed at the San Siro, in particular when facing the Rossoneri.

This is something that I have seen in England or Germany where the ref just tells the player to get up and move on. In Italy, its a scandal otherwise.

As much as I love Serie A, let's face it, at least 30% of the fouls called in the game are pure bullshit that wouldn't get called elsewhere in Europe. There's a load of cynicism and manipulation that goes on and it can be infuriating.[/code][/b]

I been too busy and too tired to look and search for any info on the following, but if anyone has heard about it, please enlighten me and some of the others that don't know about it:

I had to see the game online, through one of the online feeds, but the two game commentators talked about a new implementation that will happen next year, in Italy's Serie A, (and in France if I recall), where there will be two other refs on the sidelines! They will test this in order to combat the bullshite calls we keep seeing through the years, specifically in our league. The gist of it is all getting hammered out, but they want to try it by next year.

Has anyone read or heard anything about this?
