Guys, it's all about nailing it down now...something we've seldom managed to do on a regular basis for too damn long. I'll be gutted if we lose after this terrific primo tempo! Even a draw isn't enough under the circs!

Actually, I'm not too unhappy about that. The boys were exhausted and spags had no alternatives off the bench. Add to that the obligatory gifted penalty and it was a fine performance rather than 3 points thrown away.

Disappointing, gentlemen, but a pretty good performance all the same. I've rarely seen a professional player look as knackered as Pizza did in the final 25 mins and I've never seen Taddei look so ragged. Unfortunately when we needed some more energy from the bench spags had nowhere to go. It's a pity DDR or Menez couldn't steal something at the very last. Brighi was excellent as was Panucci, that prick. And Motta's second half was as ropey as his first was good. He didn't like Balotelli running at him, did he, and he was caught a tiny bit narrow for the first goal too. Given how patched up the team was, we should be delighted with that performance, but it's cruel when the win is taken away from you like that.
