dejan, i think there was a clearing up of kaka' being offside.... it turned out that he was onside. they had that picture remember?

and that wasnt nearly as blatant as a handball goal. because kaka' had a shit load of work to do even if he was offside. he had to run into the box, pinpoint a cross to ronaldinho who got to it with 5 defenders around him... there was no guarantee that the play would become a goal.

but adriano's hand... that was just so obvious.

but whatever, shit happens and shit happened. c'est la vie, enjoy your win and it was a great game.

Picture? I don't really remember that but I'll take you on your word even though on youtube replays, he looks offside. It was a well played game and I personally think Milan outplayed us for most of the first half as well as a good portion of the second. But you're right; this is how things go sometimes.

Tec, there was the clear penalty vs Torino (where we only drew the game) and against Lecce at 1 - 0 (that could've had a massive impact on the game had Cesar not made the WC save) that was as clear as day but not one word was mentioned in any news report. And these happened in the space of 3 weeks.

SP, the thing is I cannot explain the Maicon offside. The same way I cannot explain why Gilardino's goal vs Juve was given offside, why Catania's goal vs Juve was ruled out and why Marchionni was not given offside in the Atalanta game that Juve ended up winning. Also, as tec pointed out, the same way it's hard to justify some VERY soft Milan penalties at the start of the season.

The refs have been fuckin shite, no doubt about it and I'm sure everyone will agree on this point. However, it has been EQUALLY shit and not to anyones favour at all. The only team I feel sorry for is Fiorentina who were getting absolutely massacred by the refs until recently.

I cant even say that there is a word I dont agree with you in there Shield. Oh maybe you shouldnt start a sentence with an 'And' or use 'the the' after each other, but for the rest, its 100% accurate IMO.
Everyone today is talking about Adriano's goal (even though last year we were doomed as cheating bastards when Fernando Couto did the same thing and the ref decided it was a penalty. We later understood that when a player hits the ball with his head/leg/crotch/anything before he hits it with his hand, than that is not a handsball, yet even though this is the same type of incident, it seems like the rules have changed since last year....), but in few are mentioning Ambrosini's missed dismissal, Mutu's controversial penalty, a Genoa fan being in danger of losing his life after that the Fiore bus went all over him or Lecce recriminating for 3 clear penalties which were not given and ended up losing against Cagliari. Obviously its all about Inter cheating, they have the refs on their payroll & Milan have only lost this match because of the referee, not because they have a laughable defence. Whatever floats oneÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s boat, I guess.
