Well, as far as Petrucci, just the mere fact that he made it to that CL list speaks volumes I believe. And if we like it or not, that will/has injected an element of hope, optimism and confidence in both of those Italian kids. I mean, from what I've read before, that ManUre team has plenty of good kids coming up, and very much talented in that youth system of theirs. If Petrucci was able to make it to the CL roster, even though he isn't going to play one minute, that still says alot about him and what they think of him.

On another note, here is some news on Vicinic and a plan for management to give him a new contract. Talks are under way:

Carlo: I hope you're right about Sunday's game. We can't be overly insencitive and think along the lines that just because our team is on a roll, any game is going to be a cake walk. Not against Atalanta, on the road, at least.

I also look forward to eyeing Flocarri and see how he plays. i wish him noting other than a horrible game against us!

As far as Aquilani, that is totally a shame. The guy does seem to be psychologically effected. Aquilani is so fearful about getting injured, from his past experiences, that he seems to bring it about to get injured. Its that damm fear of "injury" that is messing him up, so it seems. I truly understand why Roma management is so fearful about signing him for a long-term contract.

I would say we should stick the broom-handle up his arse, but I fear he may enjoy it too much and take it as a sign of affection. So we should dip the end of it in acid and then do it. Big game today with four of the teams above us playing each other and so important to keep the momentum going and the pressure up. Certainly won't be easy against this Atalanta side, as Del Neri likes to drill his men good and hard [sic], so it will be tough but we can do it.

Any official line-ups yet?

Oh and I'm not sure where I'll be casting my eye more: Rome on the computer or Ireland v Italy on the TV... Well, one of those game will be very easy for my side, while the other could be more of a challenge...
