Aguero anyway is not a milito kind of striker. In Athletico he plays with Forlan who leads the line for them.

In my opinion, if adriano proves himself in these six months Mou will look for a augero type of player than a milito type. And remember we would be bringing in aquafresca who is an outright striker.

Ibra, Adriano, Balotelli, Aquafresca, ???

I read somewhere that cruz may sign a new one year deal.Is it so? Then we might not bring in Aqua this year

I like dejan's suggestions, but Lomba's seem more realistic.

T_F, theoretically that forward line you suggested sounds strong (Ibra, Adriano, Balotelli, Aquafresca, ??? ). But as we can see from this season, Adriano and Mario can't be trusted. Both have serious issues. And Freshwater hasn't proved himself with a big club yet, so he could fail with us. Leaving us with only Ibra again. Come to think of it, we should go after two more forwards rather than just the one. We can never be too cautious.

We are "arguably" the best team in the serie a. We are not the best team in Europe. Really, we need to go for world class players when the chance is right to strengthen our side and become the team to beat in Europe. I can't stand it that the strongest side in Europe atm would have to be manure. Although, barca are a threat to, which I hate to see aswell.

That's right; to get to where Barca/Man Utd are, we need to be buying World Class. We don't really need 4-5 players anymore like we did when Mancio started and I believe we went the correct path into injecting WC players this season but we had to settle for Muntari (no disrespect as he's been brilliant) instead of a WC Lampard and Quaresma/Mancini who flopped for various reasons. I'm also certain we can find a cheap DM or even one on a free and don't forget Stankovic can then also be used as a CM so we'll be well covered all over the pitch.

Inter Defender Maicon In Doubt For Milan Derby
There are fears Maicon will miss the derby through injury after hobbling from training...

Inter defender Douglas Maicon is in serious doubt for this Sunday's Derby della Madonina showdown against Milan after being forced off the training pitch on Friday morning.

Just when Jose Mourinho though he could enjoy the luxury of a healthy dressing room, luck has gone against the 'Special One', and the injury curse has struck the Nerazzurri once again.

Sportmediaset claim Maicon had to abandon the Appaino Gentile training pitch on Friday after suffering from a problem picked up during the morning session. Reports suggest Maicon was struggling with a physical knock he picked up as he made a challenge.

He was seen hobbling off the pitch and he was unable to continue and subsequently left the training complex and headed home.

The extent of the injury is not yet known and it could remain a mystery until the derby as Inter are currently locked in a press silence. The Milanese club have decided to keep quiet following last week's outburst from Jose Mourinho after the Lecce game.

This latest blow is not what the club needed in light of the crucial showdown clash with their bitter rivals. However, Mourinho has plenty of players to choose from and captain Javier Zanetti may be drafted into the right-back position.
