MILAN - F.C. Internazionale announces that Portuguese winger Andrade Quaresma Bernardo Ricardo has joined Chelsea on loan until 30 June 2009. The English club requested the services of Quaresma during the night, and the deal was sealed with a final exchange of faxes several minutes ago.

MILAN - Olivier Dacourt says goodbye to Inter after making 51 appearances for the Nerazzurri since joining on a free transfer in the summer of 2006.

The French midfielder, 34, won two Scudettos and two Italian Super Cups with Inter, and played two Coppa Italia finals against his former team Roma.

Dacourt returns to England where he had previous spells at Everton and Leeds. He joins Fulham on loan and in London will find a coach with an Inter past: Roy Hodgson.

Wow its official. The longest transfer saga of our latest summer is already gone (even if on loan for now). I really hope this is not part of a future Drogba transfer. I only want El Principe this summer, not a 31 year old with a huge wage on his back.

Premiershit agree to trade delays as Arsenal's FA Cup clash postponed

THE Barclays Premiershit said they would allow clubs a transfer window extension beyond the 1700GMT deadline on Monday because of the snow-falls in Britain and Europe, provided certain conditions were met.

The EPL said they would need e-mail confirmation from both teams a deal had been agreed to in principle and they would also need to be satisfied that it was the weather which had prevented the transfer being completed.

Snowy conditions in Britain and elsewhere in Europe have threatened to delay medicals, the agreement of personal terms and the business of players putting pen-to-paper on contracts.

The EPL's announcement came after talks they held earlier Monday with both the Football Association and world governing body FIFA.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's FA Cup fourth round replay with Cardiff City has laso fallen victim to the cold snap.

Ã¢â‚¬Å“Due to adverse weather conditions, the FA Cup fourth round replay against Cardiff City scheduled for February 3 at 7.45pm (1945GMT) has been postponed,'' an Arsenal statement said Monday.

Ã¢â‚¬Å“A date (for the match to be played) is yet to be determined.''

Last month Arsenal were held to a goalless draw by second-tier Championship side Cardiff, who beat the Gunners in the 1927 FA Cup final.

The winners of the tie will face either Premiershit strugglers West Brom or Championship Burnley, due to replay on Tuesday, in the last 16.

Inter Milan make mega swap offer for Genoa's Milito

Inter Milan have made a shock last-minute bid for Genoa striker Diego Milito.

The Nerazzurri have tabled a bid of Hernan Crespo, Nicolas Burdisso and Ã‚Â£14 million cash for the Argentina international.

However, Genoa are unlikely to accept, unless Inter offer Mario Balotelli in their bid instead of veteran Crespo.

Mess, the news about milito appeared a while back and no, he won't sign for us. The main indication is the CL list which has already been announced.

Stankovic had a minor strain i think. He should be back and fit to play the next game. I think Vieria would have returned to Milan today. With him and chivu fit we would have more options in midfield.

Vieira is more a liability than anything else while Chivu, well I can live with him playing a few games in that position as backup I suppose. I hope we invest a decent amount of money next season for 2 dms (one to replace Vieira) and another creative AM as well as a striker.
