Woof, Palermo had us on the back foot for most of that second-half, woof, and lord were we lucky not to concede an equaliser. I didn't see the first-half but if the second is anything to go by we certainly rode our luck like Maro on a drunken night out in the fields of MidWorld. If Palermo had attackers who could finish like they're dinner depended on it we would not have been so lucky. I kept waiting for us to ride out this pink storm and eventually settle down and play some football, putting them under pressure, but it never really happened. And we failed to capitalise on our counter-attacks with Vucinic's header and Daniele's 50-yard run and 5-yard miss. I'm surprised Spalletti didn't spring Menez from the bench as his energetic, mazy runs would of relieved some of the pressure. Nevertheless, we can't spruce our juice and be ready to let the magica loose every game, so a win at home while not playing our best at all is quite nice indeed.

wouldnt you know it. cassetti just had to get injured in light of the panucci situation.

that was one ugly half there by our boys. looks like the other results around serie a today are going to be helping our cause in the standings. 1 point off of 4th.

I thought Liverani ate us alive today. I'll take the win considering we were losing these kind of games early in the season. How about la lazie. Out scored 7-2 over the last three days. I must visit the lazie offside to rub it in to those fucks. I remember all of the confidence those bastards had not too long ago. Considering where we came from, I like our postion right now. Rubentus, Napoli and Milan all dropping points today. Pretty nice.
