I think Burdisso is a starter on the Argentinian national team...5.5 million would be a semi-steal. And if you're not willing to pay 5m for a backup CB when you have that fucking china doll Juan then how are you supposed to be competitive? Oh and that site you provided lists Taddei as a 14m Euro player.........so much for credibility.

Panucci out Burdisso in would make this one of the best winter markets in the past decade.

I would also take Natali.

Fact remains that we do need someone and I doubt that if Panucci didn't pull a stunt as he did, we would end up with no one during this market (we may still end up with no one). I also believe that Panucci is not an adequate coverage option as a CB...therefore, blessing in disguise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the first set play was created by a nifty move from Baptista and I remember the foul being well deserved.

The second one was an error from the Napoli player, no doubt, but we were pressuring the Napoli defenders quite well all day and were almost bound to create a goal as a result of that pressure.

Also, we still had to finish all of these chances and this is something that we've had a problem with in the past.

I don't want to come across as a dick by going at it with you here...I'm really just goading you into spending a bit more time on the forum;).

I'd rather have Samuel, Chivu, or Ferrari as the third choice cb. I really do not think that highly of Burdisso. While he may seem like an adequate or even desirable back up, I have seen him make too many costly errors, namely unnecessarily brutal tackles in poor field position. If he played for any team other than Inter he'd be one of the most booked players in the league . . . seriously though, his propensity to tackle in such a manner makes him a liability.

I believe ESPN360 runs on a slight delay. Annoys the shit out of me, but could be a personal thing.
