I don't think they let go of dos santos.....May be we should try for the young spanish striker they have....He is also very good and there are more chances than they will sell him....

Its not whether they want it or not.In Spain,you have to have a release clause for each player.Right now,Dos Santos' release clause is 20M.So they either make him a new,much more lucrative contract immediately,or they will lose him for 20M.
If his contract remains the same,anyone who offers 20M can agree personal terms with the player.This we already did when we bought Ronaldo from Barca for some 25M,which back then was his release clause.

I was watching Spanish football on Sky the other night and Guillem Balague (the Spanish James Richardson) was talking about Dos Santos. He said his release clause is for €30m. He was saying it is possible that a team could buy him out using this clause but he went on to say that while he is a very talented young player, he wouldn't be completely sure that he is that good and worth such a figure. A lot of promise, yes, but still an awful lot to do to justify his hype. He also went on to talk about how a lot of people in Barca want to eventually cash in on one player in particular, and how they feel that next summer is the ideal time to do that. It is, of course, Ronaldinho, and how there is a very realistic chance that he will leave, so it will be interesting.
