P-nut, you're not likely to find too many top class players whose primary motive is to play for Roma out of love for the club. Assume for a minute that either Podolski or Di Michele will be joining Roma in the next two weeks. Who would you rather have? Podolski, who would be joining to advance his career, or Di Michele, who would swim across the channel and run to Trigoria if given a chance?

Mmnnn, 2 assists from Cicinho...unless my eyes were deceivin' me when watching the highlights, didn't the silly b*stard also hit the right hand post with a penalty? Vuci took the first and scored, why not the second rigore too? Would have made the score 3-1 to us at that point and in a competetive match that counts!

Once again according to Mediaset, it seems our club is willing to let Panucci go in the summer just as much as he is threatening to walk out! On a brighter note it seems we are offering Aquilani an extra 2 mil on his contract renewal. All rumours of course...

Haha! I have to admit St_Grasso, I love the "P-Nut" nickname you have used to address me. Not bad, since it very much matches the complection of that poor little dude I have used as my Profile Pic..........

I would no doubt take Di Michele, but that is just an idealistic pic between him and someone who just wants to play to, "further his career." What do you guys think, is there someone on our current roster who is just with our team to 'further their careers?'

I was of the thought that Menez came to us because he truly liked our team. Jeremy's uproar about suddenly thinking about going to a different team came because he wanted "to play minutes" and not sit on the bench. I think that is a stark difference between him and Podoslki, who would (1) rather play for Koln, or (2) Barcelona, because he is a fan of that team, or (3) any other team that will give him playing time, such as Roma.

Other than that, I might be wrong, but the players that are in our team today are there because of a love or likability for our team, not because of alterior motives such as Podolski. If I am wrong, then I hope anyone corrects me.

Yeah, who are we kidding, Cicinho is the glue that sticks this team together. I am so happy he wants to stay with our team and he doesn't want to go to Chelsea or a Brazilian team. I'll tell ya, I am just so elated that he is staying.....

As a last question, what is the status of La Bestia? I haven't had time to read anything online today.

Are those rumors that I read true, about his injury or is it just over-hyped hysteria? Does anyone know?
