The rumors of this Braghieri character are interesting. Big physical strong Argentinean centre-half () of whom big things are expected in his home nation. Anyone remember the last Argie centre-half we signed? He wasn't half bad. Obviously Braghieri doesn't quite come (if, indeed, there is solid interest on our part) with the same reputation as The Wall but he is not expected to be a first team starter, either. Investing in promising young players like Braghieri is the way to go and not by messing around with the likes of Loria (I know he was part brought in for his 'experience', but I mean seriously, WTF experience has he brought?! Nothing). And its a bit unfair to compare him to iTunes because he's not expected to come in and challenge for a starting spot, but rather act as cover.

With D'Agostino, I'm not so sure the rumours of him joining Rubentus have any real legs to stand on. As far as I'm aware the only source of this rumour is from his agent when he said saying that he may move there, and thats not to convincing and sounds like the usual "my player is great" agent bullshit. I'm not so sure he could make a big impact at Rubentus anyway, and would likely only be a backup player, and that really he is playing at his level now in a good if not great Udinese side. Don't get me wrong, I do like him as a player and always hoped he would eventually make the break through proper when he was on our books, but I don't know if he now has the quality to be anything better than the likes of Pizarro or Aquilani if we were to bring him back.

Lots of speculation over new arrivals in the forward department:
• (talk of possible exchange involving Okaka. Better only be on loan)
• ("Postive contact", although Atalanta said they won't consider a sale until June)
• (He wants to move to us, but we only made a loan bid but they'd only consider an outright sale, interest from the EPL)
• (said there has been contact, and he believes Roma are "a great club" and desperately wants to leave Bayern)

Wouldn't be all that keen on the first two, but Osvaldo would be an interesting addition, while Podolski would be exciting if a bit of a risk.

Cufre is a left-full, not a centre-half, but good one all the same Don Tommasino.

Actually, Edzo, he was a centre-half who was shaped into a left-back. I think, for instance, when he was on-loan at Siena he played entirely as the left-centre-back of three and he certainly played his earlier football in the middle. Admittedly he wasn't known as the Wall, but I thought you might let me have that one.

That aside, yes, Malouda for Cicinho could be a workable option for us. I believe Pradè is asking for 5 mil plus Malouda to make the deal worth our while...

Tom, spare my blushes for Christsake! Can you imagine a film of that or indeed any sort with Ahmed and TK as camera men? I'm a reluctant star at the best of times and afterwards, I couldn't picture myself sneakin' around bars and clubs with those two, DVD's and videos under our coats, in hoarse whispers asking if anyone wanted to buy dirty movies!

I'm intrigued by Pocari and 'Moldo's reference to "Blue Girl" beer. An acquired taste...

I can't help thinking of Marlene Dietrich, the original Blue Angel, the first Hollywood megastar to openly admit to bi-sexual tendencies! Those old black and white flicks she starred in, her trademark black stockings and suspenders, scorching "come to bed" eyes...for her I'd have put up with the ever present cigarette!
