Ecco le situazioni contrattuali dei big romanisti

A cercare il pelo nell'uovo in un calciomercato per certi versi esaltante, l'unico aspetto che ancora può preoccupare la Roma è quello relativo ai rinnovi. Solo il contratto di Mexes, l'uomo più importante della difesa, è stato per ora siglato con la reciproca soddisfazionei per i prossimi quattro anni. L’autunno sarà dunque importante per decifrare il futuro di giocatori determinanti nei piani giallorossi.
DE ROSSI - Il futuro capitano è incedibile. Ci hanno provato e ci proveranno in molti a strapparlo alla Capitale, ma un contratto fino al 2012 è praticamente pronto nel cassetto della dirigenza romanista. La prossima stagione De Rossi percepirà 3,9 milioni lordi, emolumenti che la proprietà sa di dover raddoppiare per trattenerlo a vita.
AQUILANI - Zavaglia, procuratore del bomber di inizio stagione, non ha fretta di firmare fregandosi le mani per le prestazioni del suo assistito. Non lo ha fatto in maggio e non intende accelerare adesso che Aquilani vive il miglior momento della carriera. Il contratto scadrà nel 2010, ma per sottrarlo alle attenzioni delle grandissime si dovrà ritoccare di molto lo stipendio che attualmente è di circa 50 mila euro netti.
MANCINI - Negli incontri di luglio con Gilmar Veloz si sono poste le basi per la nuova intesa quinquennale. Non c'è ancora totale accordo sulle cifre: il brasiliano vorrebbe guadagnare come Mexes, la società propone circa 2 milioni netti a salire più premi. La volontà di proseguire insieme comunque non sembra in discussione.
DONI - La Coppa America vinta da titolare col Brasile ha quasi quintuplicato il suo valore. Ora ha un ingaggio di 1,25 milioni lordi: pochino per la saracinesca dell'ultimo anno, che in estate si è trasformato dirigente nell'operazione Cicinho, in cui è risultata decisiva la sua mediazione. Motivo in più per gratificarlo con un sostanzioso adeguamento.
FERRARI - Pradè e l'agente Corci si sono dati appuntamento alla prima decade del mese per riallacciare i contatti. Spalletti vuole trattenerlo, ma le richieste sono ritenute ancora troppo elevate e non è escluso che il centrale finisca per liberarsi a parametro zero.
TONETTO - Come Ferrari, anche lui è in scadenza 2008. Il suo agente Sistici mira a un biennale, ma l'esterno ha 33 anni e la società vuole pensarci bene.

I see, thanks Glad. Interesting piece. Is Aquilani really on 50-g's-a-season?! I knew he wasn't exactly a top-earner but I didn't think it was that low. That breaks down to roughly €1,000-a-week, is the minimum wage for a Serie A player. I agree, I think a slight increase is in order. Say his current wage x50. Its incredible to think an Azzurri international is on such a low-figure, but at least we don't have to worry and know he is a romanisti true and true – imagine if an 'outside' (for want of a better term) player burst into the limelight like he did, he would be attracting interest from all angles and demanding this and that. On that note, it seems that Arsenal did make a bid for his services in the summer:

Aquilani was Arsenal target!

Arsenal and Valencia both had summer offers rejected for Roma's Alberto Aquilani, according to reports in Italy. The duo are believed to have put in bids of around 15million euros (£10.1million), but Roma turned both sides down in order keep one of their star midfielders.

In 2001, then Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri targeted the Italian youngster, however Aquilani chose to stay at the Stadio Olimpico The 23-year-old is currently contracted until 2010 and could soon put pen-to-paper on an extension.

Aquilani expressed his content at currently playing for the Serie A side, and is hoping to lift some silverware this season. "I am happy because I am playing regularly," Aquilani told Corriere della Sera. "It is a beautiful time to be playing for Roma, everyone wants to succeed, but I must still improve as a player. "Our fans deserve the Scudetto, but it will be tough."

Mancini for October D-day

Roma’s Brazilian star Amantino Mancini will commit his future to the Giallorossi in October, according to his agent.

The midfield ace played a crucial role in last term’s revelatory season, but his current contract doesn’t offer a significant pay rise at the end of each season.

Despite reported interest from top clubs, including Liverfekkin'wankscum, there were no concrete offers for Mancini this summer, but he is yet to commit his long-term future to the capital club.

The attentions of French champions Lyon may have unsettled the 27-year-old. The Stade Gerland outfit were allegedly lining up a £10m bid, but Magica chief Rosella Sensi rebuffed their advances.

L'Inter vuole Rosina, pronti 15 milioni

Come anticipato da Alice Sport nei giorni scorsi, l'Inter è in pole position per portare Alessandro Rosina in nerazzurro. Il talento granata non ha ancora trovato l'accordo per il rinnovo del contratto in scadenza nel 2009. La differenza tra domanda e offerta è infatti abissale. Il giocatore guadagna meno di un milione a stagione e Moratti è pronto ad offrire 2,5 milioni di euro l'anno per convincerlo. Tra Cairo e Moratti i rapporti sono molto buoni e la valutazione del 23enne fantasista si aggirerebbe sui 15 milioni di euro.

Anyone else seen this? Inter after Rosina, fecking typical. I would hate to see him join them, and it's not like he'd fit in there or anything, you know, being Italian and all. I really hope to see him in a Roma jersey someday.

Promising Slovenia midfielder Dare Vrsic has admitted it would be a dream come true to play for Roma. The classy 23-year-old is currently plying his trade in Romania with FCU Politehnica Timisoara but a move to a bigger stage looks certain in the summer. After scoring twice in his first five caps for his country, Vrsic is bullish about any possible switch to Serie A.

"It's no secret that I would like to play in Italy one day," he said. "Roma are a big club and Francesco Totti is my idol. "I'm flattered that somebody sees him in me and yes, I do try to play a lot like him. "I try to learn from him and steal a move or dribble from him!"

Agent Edoardo Giusti has admitted Roma and Torino want Vrsic during an interview with nogomania.com. "Luciano Spalletti recently told me that he likes Dare as a player," said Giusti. "He also reminds him a lot of Francesco Totti. "Vrsic is on a big list of new players for next season at Roma and, next week, I will meet again with Spalletti.

"I think Dare is an extremely talented player. I've been looking at him closely for the last three years and he is getting better and better every season. "And yes, in some way, he does remind me of Totti. "If you ask me, then he could play for Roma. And Torino also want him. "So, if he will move to Italy, it will be to Roma or Torino."

I am not keen on rosina,I think he would be perfect to our formation. Mancini is leaving, he might be perfect replacement.But we have cerci coming, I prefer we spent on di natale and use cerci for the future.
Currently I think di natale is better then rosina.

Lo Monaco al Romanista.it: "Vargas? La Roma in pole"

"Vargas alla Roma? A parità di offerte preferisco darlo alla Roma". A parlare è Pietro Lo Monaco, ds del Catania, intervistato dal Romanista.it in merito il futuro di Juan Manuel Vargas, esterno sinistro classe '83 in forza alla squadra siciliana: "Ad oggi non ci sono grosse novità su questa trattativa - spiega il dirigente - però posso dire che a parità di condizioni preferisco dare Vargas alla Roma piuttosto che ad altre squadre che si sono interessate a lui anche in gennaio. I giallorossi sono stati i primi a chiederci il ragazzo la scorsa estate". Si parla di una valutazione sui sei, sette milioni di euro per l'intero cartellino: "No - esclama Lo Monaco - siamo su cifre più alte che però è meglio non rivelare. La Roma potrebbe inserire dei giovani? Non lo so questo, diciamo che se son rose fioriranno".

We are still in pole position to land Vargas should he be leaving in the summer, as we have a good relationship with the Catania managment, and all parties would be happy if he came to Roma. If we are willing to dish out the cash...


We have also been linked to Hertha Berlin and German international defender Arne Friedrich, Super Mario Gomez of Stuttgart, and Napoli defender Domizzi, seen as an ideal replacement for Ferrari.

ROMA, MANCINI PER ARRIVARE A SILVINHO

Secondo la Gazzetta dello Sport, girano sempre più voci nella Capitale circa l'imminente arrivo del ds del Barcellona, Txiki Beguiristain, che dovrebbe incontrarsi con Daniele Pradé. Motivo dell'incontro, la volontà sempre più forte del club catalano di assicurarsi Alessandro Mancini. A Trigoria smentiscono, ma è un dato di fatto come il Barcellona stia guardando al mercato italiano con sempre maggiore interesse, e come l'esterno brasiliano, da tempo in via di rottura con la Roma, sia un loro chiaro obiettivo; il Barcellona potrebbe offire in cambio l'esterno Silvinho, la Roma preferirebbe francese Abidal, che però col suo ingaggio di oltre 4 milioni a stagione pare destinato a restare un sogno.
