It's a big test for Mou no doubt.All his work will be judged on this match. If we don't manage to beat Man Ure then everyone will starting pointing out that there is no difference between mancini and mourinho.

So I think he risks his reputation a lot more than Inter do(since we have quite used to losing at these stages in the CL).

My God Siena were desperately unlucky not to get at least a point out of that game tonight. Aside from conceding that very contentious second goal, they probably had the better chances in the second-half (didn't see all of the first), and more of the possession.

And then there's that winning goal which, undisputedly, had three players all about three yards offside, no doubts about it. Absolutely diabolical decision by the linesman.

And Mourinho's celebrations were a bit over the top weren't they! :

"Jose Mourinho ran the entire length of the pitch to hug Maicon behind the goal in scenes reminiscent of Manchester United-Porto."

It's pretty much clear it was offside so a poor refereeing call, however, it's not like a certain other team in Milano that's been given 7 of the softest penalty calls in memory (not mentioning names). Also, Siena weren't supposed to be easy-beats anyway seeing as they'd not lost a game at home this season. Maicon was basically the only star and everyone else just did their job I suppose.

Instead of trying to convince Mourinho he deserves a starting spot in the team, Balotelli may have only convinced him enough for a kick to the face and tell the kid to start fucking running. That's the laziest effort I think I've seen in an Inter shirt recently and he looked about 2 notches underneath game pace. Jimenez was semi-decent but he's been out for a long time so fair enough. Zlatan was on early holidays which is ok considering he's busted his chops all year for the team. Surprisingly, Cordoba and Samuel looked pretty shakey out there.. maybe the fatigue of playing since long injury lay-offs has gotten to them so I'll give the benefit of the doubt here.

And Mourinho.. that's fucking passion right there. Get onto the field, sprint the 100m in 9.7 secs to get to Maicon and celebrate; good stuff right there!!!!

Could Inter feature an Ibra-Ibi strike-force next season?...

The latest reports in Italy suggest that Serie A champion Inter are keeping close tabs on Hoffenheim goal-machine Vedad Ibisevic.

The Bosnian hit-man has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season, scoring 18 goals in his first 17 matches and firing Hoffenheim to the top of the table in the process.

That form has understandably brought transfer speculation with it and Inter are just the latest club on a rapidly growing list of admirers that already includes Bayern Munich and reportedly also Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has, however, seemingly ruled out leaving the Sinsheim club next season.

"The enquiries from other clubs make me a bit proud," Ibisevic said in a recent interview. "But I will definitively stay with Hoffenheim next season."

IbisevicÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s current deal runs until 2010.

Mourinho Ready To Prise Adebayor Away From Arsenal - Report
The Nerazzurri are using the Adriano saga as a distraction to pounce for Arsenal's Adebayor...
Inter are launching a transfer offensive for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor as a possible replacement for Adriano if he leaves San Siro.

Didier Drogba has already been forgotten at Appiano Gentile and Adebayor is the latest name to have been scribbled down by Jose Mourinho.

Tuttomercatoweb.com claims Inter are prowling for the Togolese with a view to prising him away from the Emirates. With Inter's on-going problems with Adriano, Adebayor could arrive sooner rather than later.

The Nerazzurri have warned L'imperatore that further abject form could result in his deal being shredded. Adebayor was being closely followed by Milan last season but they strengthened with Andriy Shevchenko and Ronaldinho.

Mourinho is a keen admirer of the Arsenal striker and the Italian side could be prepared to tempt the Gunners with a mega offer.

Reports have suggested the lack of recent success at the Emirates could force a few stars to consider leaving, and Inter are ready and waiting to pounce.
