Was actually listening to Giuly and Candela in live on RMC RADIO...this game is very exciting and in France they do hope Bordeaux can create the surprise.
Good to hear that Candela still has a Roman heart like our Philippe. Both him and Ludovic Giuly actually said good things about Roma. They think and are right that it ll be a though task for Bordeaux to win at the Olimpico tonight.

Jasus relax there now Maro hy. You'd swear we're gonna jump on him for having such a lovely avatar. Too bad MrRoma ain't around anymore. Pauly, there's usually quite a good few around for matches, with a good bit of discussion and all round banter and outpouring of emotions and/or rage. The biggest difference between here and The Offside, I think, is that there's no big scary dictator like Chris who controls everything you do and is really, really mean, as I'm sure all the lads here will tell you. Lets hope we'll be celebrating qualification on top of our group tonight.

Few reports that The LitM may not fully recover to start this one and so he may be on the bench with Menez taking his place. A little worried he's not starting, he's usually good for a goal or six on the big nights, but hopefully he'll be alright to come on some stage, if needed. And Menez should be raring to go anyway; finally getting his big break last weekend with an all-round good performance and winning goal, not to mention a chance to shine against a French side who's entire nation will be watching. Stopping Gourcuff and his pace is obviously the key, and with DDR, Brighi and Perrotta in there they should be able to manage him.

anyway, boys, i am nervous as hell about the game tonight. probably more nervous than i've been since the final fixture of last season. i cant even get myself in the frame of mind to actually work today so i decided to take the day off...maybe hang the christmas lights outside to soak up the rest of my time today.

no question this is going to be a very tough match since it is essentially do-or-die for both teams and bordeaux is no slouch to begin with. i echo frenchesco's comments in that i hope we can get a goal or two early to help open the game up and not get too deep into the game scoreless only to have bordeaux score a late one and fuck us up royally. i dont want to know about the other game or rely on a chelsea brainfart to get us through. i want the boys to take care of business on their own and do so convincingly!
