Inter Target Cristiano Ronaldo - Reports

The Nerazzurri are seemingly hot on the heels of the Ballon dÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Or winner and could launch a mega-bid next summer.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Cristiano RonaldoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s agent Jorge Mendes has revealed to Inter transfer gurus that the Portuguese is still keen on leaving Manchester United, despite his much-publicised 'dream' move to Spanish champions Real Madrid falling through this summer.

Moreover, his representative has allegedly stressed that the 23-year-old would love to continue his career at the Stadio San Siro, as he is fascinated by the possibility of being coached by compatriot JosÃƒÂ© Mourinho, a man with whom he has had public disagreements in the past.

Mendes has become very close to the Beneamata camp in recent months, as he was first entrusted by president Massimo Moratti to handle the lengthy transfer saga which saw Ricardo Quaresma land in Milan last August, and he is now also dealing with Brazilian side Fluminense to capture central defender Thiago Silva.

Corriere dello Sport reported this morning that the Via Durini directors are already in the process of planning out the assault on the Red DevilsÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ prized asset and Moratti has the backing of Pirelli, the company which picked another Ronaldo, the Phenomenon, as their global face a few years ago.

Per Thiago Silva all'Inter ÃƒÂ¨ praticamente fatta. Il procuratore del giocatore, Paulo Tonietto, ha raggiunto un accordo di massima con la dirigenza nerazzurra. Manca solo la firma del difensore centrale, che domenica giocherÃƒÂ la sua ultima partita col Fluminense, nella quale promette ai tifosi una prestazione di saluto coi fiocchi. Il club di Moratti sembra aver dunque vinto la concorrenza di Milan e Chelsea. Entro Natale l'affare sarÃƒÂ formalizzato.

L'Inter insomma ha accelerato i tempi, sfruttando anche il fatto che Tonietto ÃƒÂ¨ legato a Jorge Mendes, il procuratore di Mourinho. Insomma, malgrado l'insistenza di Milan e Chelsea, era difficile pensare ad un eventuale sgarbo al tecnico portoghese, che ha scelto Thiago Silva come rinforzo per il reparto arretrato nerazzurro.

Is he supposed to be a quick cb, Lomba, MI? We need a quick CB considering we play so far up the field and Cordoba/Chivu (when he actually plays) are our only QUALITY, fast cb's as opposed to Samuel, Matrix and Rivas.

Fluminense defender Thiago Silva insists he is unsure of where his future lies despite the Italian media being certain about a January move to Inter.

The 24-year-old stopper has become a top target for a number of clubs and there is currently a three-way fight between the Nerazzurri, Milan and Chelsea.

Sportmediaset claimed a deal had already been agreed with Jose Mourinho's side but the player himself insists he doesn't know where he will end up.

aquilani is a lass player but spend most of the season in injury box
we have planty good players but really only on top class 3

i prefear one top player then having the mancini ans quaresma that want make much difference
lampard is getting on
