Well, I hope that Franco Caltigirone can convince his father to buy Roma. Since he has a rather close relationship with Rosella, it seems like things may be moving in the right direction. I hope so, because from what I hear, Rosella is resisting further talks of selling the club. There appears to be other options but I do not put much faith in the Toti brothers, Alberto Tripi or Giovanni Malagò buying this team. I would assert that perhpas those three could form an ownership group but their egos are much too big for such a partnership. Caltigirone remains, for me anyway, the very best option for Roma. He could buy both Roma and Italpetroli if he chose to, pay off the debts, and still put tens of millions into the club. He is our savior, our Messiah and I have been praying for such an outcome for years now. It would be a dream come true and this man, Francesco Gaetano Caltigirone will turn Roma into a force in Europe in a very short time.
