i told you that you'd love the new shirts sooner rather than later. they are indeed sickness shirtified, especially from the back.

hey, it's not seedorf's fault he's not a dm, although in 2003 and 2004, both were awesome despite the fact seedorf was still playing in ambro's current position, but admittedly, seedorf was doing a lot more defensive work then.

it's not just perrotta on the nt that make pirlo's life easier, it's also camoranesi, who is a workhorse on the right, and also daniele de rossi, when he plays. also, having zambro on one of the flanks would be any regista's dream.

i agree, rob, that it's always pleasant to have to eat your own words when the player exceeds all expectations, especially when he was expected to fail. i think we were all happy to eat our words when ronaldo fit in as well as he did towards the end of last season and actually brought a positive attitude with him. most people were probably happy to eat their own words about seedorf, too. it's much better than having to eat your own words when a player you have wanted transferred in for a while ends up flopping in his first two seasons...i'm looking at you, gila.

We'll probably get a new 'keeper in January if Dida continues to be as inconsistent as he's been over the past season (and a half)...Hildebraand and even De Sanctis may get disillusioned with the lack of first team football...or we may even be able to pick up young Amelia...
Personally, I like Dida and I really think he will be able to reclaim his lost form...hopefully makes you guys eat your words, what?

i've been saying it for a while that we will get a keeper in january, maybe even buffon, if we offer an arm and a leg. i like schalke's neuer, too, but he's only 21, and if there's one position where you need experience more than anything is goalkeeper, and i don't think we would ever go for a goalkeeper under 25 years old. i have always liked timo as well. buffon was a youth team player for us too, by the way.

I fear a draw is on the cards tomorrow, it won't be a disaster but not a good result nontheless, we ought to win games like vs Fiorentina at home, I think we should stick with our lineup vs Sevilla except take out Seedorf and Pippo and put in Gila and R99 in their place

At any case the relatively tough games we have for the start of the season, while preventing Carlo from his usual large-scale rotations in August and September, is good for us as it ensures we start fully concentrated and in top form

Chelski lost with $heva not even making to the bench :lol:

Oliviera also scored again for Zaragoza, lets hope he keeps it up so that we get a good $$ when we sell this fuck next summer

yeah, i can't disagree with that. as long as seedorf is healthy, he should start anyway. if we're comfortably leading in the second half, i would really like to see gorky get to play.

i am expecting a draw as well, especially since we have not fared well against fiorentina the past two seasons, but at least now, luca toni isn't there to put a brace past dida. so if we show up with the same desire we showed against sevilla, we will prevail, but will we have that desire?

Our fullbacks did not have a solid game defensively speaking, we were at times far too exposed with only Nesta and Kaladze vs 2-3 Fiorentina attackers on the break, this is not acceptable

I'm annoyed about our last sub, Emerson for Ambro made no sense to me, we had to put in Gorky in this situation we needed an attacking sub, I just hope this is not a pattern for the rest of the season, then we may even lose Gorky next year

Ah...looks like you're prediction was spot on TheMan...too bad..we really could've won though but so could they TBH...our fullbacks left the defense exposed for the most part but how can one blame them after their performance on Friday...anyway we got the break we need and a trophy for our troubles this week....

Gila can't seem to get a break...the kid was obviously trying so hard, it pained me he couldn't get that goal...the crowd certainly didn't help...oh well, I really think he's gonna break through the next game :roll:

and Gorky will get to play :roll:
