I think he's got even less chance of making the grade on the wing, Avvocato. He's not good enough with his back to goal and he's not clever enough to link play up. He needs everything to be unfolding in front of him and even then it's a bit iffy.

If he can't make it as a right back with Mexes, Juan, and DDR looking after things in the middle and Totti and Pizza pulling the strings going forward he's simply never going to cut it. To be fair to the little fella, I just get the feeling he already knows he's on borrowed time - with Cassetti returning from injury I think he knows he's about to begin riding the pine again. His only chance is if he really feels he has Spags's confidence and that he's going to get a proper run of games. Then finally he might start taking his shite seriously. With Cassetti coming back and with Panucci on the left, he must know it's only a matter of time before Max or Riise come back in and he's third choice down the right.
