dino, tiago didn't say that he wants out. He just said that he'll leave if he doesn't get to start. There's a difference. This is a good thing IMO. He thinks he should be starting, so it means he is starting to regain some of his confidence. I don't see the need for him to complain though. I don't remember him starting back to back games for juve since he got here. I'm sure if he wasn't injured for 2 weeks he would of been starting then as well. He's our guy right now as long as poulsen and zanetti are out, so if he thinks he should be starting regularly he has the time to prove himself.

Lyon ponder Trez exchange

French giants Lyon may be preparing a part-exchange swoop to bring Juventus hitman David Trezeguet to the Stade Gerland.

Trezeguet is currently recovering after surgery on both knees and is expected to return to action in January.

However, given the glut of attacking options at Claudio Ranieri's disposal, it is possible the French international may struggle to find a place in the first team.

According to a variety of sources in France, Lyon are considering offering Trez the chance to return to his homeland and are willing to offer Juve highly rated striker Karim Benzema in exchange.

At the age of 20, Benzema is seen by many as Trezeguet's heir for Les Bleus and he already has 35 goals to his name in Ligue 1 from just 88 appearances.

A number of top European sides are keeping a close eye on Benzema, but Juve could trump them all as they have the ideal bargaining chip in Trezeguet.


I wouldn't think twice. Poor Trez. I feel extremely but this is calcio. We have to let go of Trez,Nedved and tender Alex one day. An opportunity lands like this you need to take it. Splash the pot with a little money and I think it will happen.
