Let's hope we get Juan back for Wednesday. To be honest, I feel a bit sorry for Loria. He's actually shown a bit of quality at times, but his biggest problem is that he's had to be wheeled out for precisely the wrong matches. I should have thought this, for instance, was one of the games for which Spags would have least liked to have had to turn to Loria - matching up against a front three who are all about pace and getting in behind. Alongside a properly fit Juan or Philippe he'd look a lot more comfortable, or in a defence set up to defend along the edge of the penalty box.

What now against Samp, then? Will it just be Menez in for the suspended Vooch and perhaps Pizza for Brighi? Or will Spags be looking for a way to really shake things up? A 4-4-2 with Monty or Baptista alongside Totti? Somehow I don't see it. Quite why we played with such a ridiculously high defensive line, in the second half especially, I will never know.

He said he would be looking to using different methods from now on. I don't know if that translates into an entirely new formation. I just can't see Spalletti dropping his current system, even if its for a short period of time. If he does, then I would be shocked that its taken him this long to do it.

Maro, if Pizarro is fit then I think Spalletti sticks to the same formation. We would have Perrotta, Pizarro, and Totti. The three key elements to making this formation work. As for Menez, I expect him to start. Its time for him to prove his worth. Oh, and we have Baptista back for this week. For the first time in a month I'm expecting a win.
