There are reports that Inter's teenage marksman Mario Balotelli is planning to hand in a transfer request.

Balotelli is one of Italy's most promising rising stars, but he has had limited action with the Nerazzurri this term.

According to Sportmediaset, the Azzurrini ace has grown tired of his peripheral role and is ready to ask Mourinho to be transfer-listed.

The 18-year-old is determined to break into Marcello Lippi's senior Italy squad and he realises that is unlikely when his involvement is limited to warming the San Siro bench.

Sportmediaset claims that Balotelli will meet with club officials next week to discuss a possible loan switch in January.

Chelsea are known to be keen on Balotelli and Serie A's giants are also likely to keep a close eye on the situation.

Big difference between 'wants to leave' and wants a loan'....
What is most funny(I've read the article in Italian) is that they claim that Balotelli might end up playing for either Milan, Juve or Roma on loan! Now come on, who would beleive that??
Anyway, this news comes from Sportmediaset....Berlusconi's owned media company....so that should make on think.
The same source which said, a couple of weeks ago, that we were ready to offload Cambiasso & Cruz for Hamsik....PURE BS!!

Ibra Extends Until 2013 And Signs Ã¢â€šÂ¬12m A Year Deal - Reports

Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a new contract extension at Inter which will see him play at the club until 2013 and he will earn Ã¢â€šÂ¬12m per season, becoming the highest paid player in Europe in the process, according to Sportmediaset...

The news means Ibra will become Europe's hishest paid footballer ahead of Milan star Kaka and Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

The hit-man's previous contract was set to expire in 2012 but the club have extended it and they have increased the player's wages by an extra Ã¢â€šÂ¬3m per season starting from this year.

Sportmediaset claims that the new contract has already been sent to the Lega Calcio offices even though the club has not confirmed anything yet.

The Sweden international has been outstanding for the Nerazzurri and he has been rewarded for his contribution to the side. Inter welcome Genoa to San Siro on Sunday afternoon and Ibra is certain to start against them.

The Beneamata are flying high in Serie A as they are in firm command at the top of the table. The striker is coach Jose Mourinho's 'Special Star' and the Portuguese coach will be delighted with the out come, knowing he can rely on Ibra to do the business for longer.

Moratti: Let Mourinho Do His Job
Inter president Massimo Moratti is not phased by Jose Mourinho's outburst following the 0-0 draw with Genoa at San Siro and he insists he will not get involved between coach and players...

The 'Special One' lost it following the game and he suggested players would be dropped for the next game and that some of them wouldn't be picked if they didn't listen.

The coach meant his words as Adriano, Julio Cruz, Mario Balotelli and Victor Obinna were all put through their paces during monday morning's training session while the other players were allowed to leave Appiano Gentile at lunchtime.

Moratti believes it's best to let Mourinho handle the squad as he refuses to get dragged into the shambles.

"I knew Jose had gone berzerk with a striker but I didn't know it was Julio Cruz," Moratti told Sky Sport 24.

"The relationship between coach and players is best left alone. The club will not get involved.

"There was no offence between anyone. We just get on with what we have to do.

"The team has to do what needs to be done and then we will see the results. Mourinho is the one who will make decisions based on what he feels is best.

"The point against Genoa is a good one because it's important to stay on top during this difficult period where we are playing three games a week."

Inter are joint top alongside Udinese and Napoli. The Nerazzurri travel to Fiorentina on Wednesday and they will be hoping for a better result against La Viola.

Anyway, we have bad news and good news. The bad news is that Cambiasso is still unfit to play apparently, therefore we have Muntari, Vieira, Cambiasso, Jimenez & Figo out and Stankovic & Dacourt doubtful (thats when mentioning our midfield only). I think we might play an offensive 4-4-2 against Fiore with Chivu-Zanetti in the middle & Quaresma-Mancini on the flanks. If Stankovic will be available, we might play with JZ-Chivu-Stankovic in the middle.
The good news is that Gilardino has been suspended for 2 games after yesterday's handsball goal against Palermo.
