Greetings from NY gents. I'm currently in the biggest Apple store i've ever seen in my life located on Central Park South. Its the friggin business. I didn't know they made screens this big. Mind you, I didn't know I'd find a massive three-story shop dedicated solely to M&M's either, but there you go. Havin a blast, this city is amazing. Done the Empire State thing yesterday already and have walked everywhere and anywhere, and they even had the streets closed and red carpet and seating laid out on Time Square yesterday evening for the viewing of some Opera on the big screens. Quite a site. Still haven't found the official AsRomaStore yet though. Time to get back walking, me thinks, plenty more to see. Will try pop in later in the week, and Steve and Giovanni, talk to you lads soon.

Well I said often enough I wanted a true target man, a real hot-shot up front! But Nery Castillo was as much a pipe dream as Tuna's accurate assessment of Huntelaar and in any case most of our little group didn't agree with my choice! I even had a compromise "wish" of a tridente...Iaquinta - Vučinić - Di Natale because I too think our gallant Capitan' is destined to play a "bit part" at best for us over the foreseeable future.

I would love to see Ita's suggestion of Caltigirone or someone like him to quickly take charge of our beloved Lupi because then guys like Iaquinta, Di Natale and maybe even Mutu wouldn't have slipped through our fingers! But it wouldn't surprise me if our Principessa Rosella manages to hang on either by the skin of her teeth or the elastic of her panties presuming she wears any...

...and that being the case we had better hope Baptista and Menez can pull their weight for us because I don't under her regime see any significant reinforcements to our squad arriving in January.

Andrew, although you stated the obvious about our needing to beat Reggina you were nonetheless right! Our trasferta in Genoa tonight will be an awkward one, not helped by Cassetti being out though it would seem we will after all have Aquilani. We're already 3 points behind Inter and Juventus and we can't at this stage afford to lose 2 more points or worse, 3! We've started our campaign plagued with injuries off the back of a poor calciomercato, the kind of position we wouldn't have expected to be in until at least January-February if at all...
