Maybe I'm too confident, but I really dont see Lecce pulling off a surprise result on wednesday. We are in an acceptable form ATM, and unlike us, Lecce arent used to play 2 league matches in 3 days, so we definately have a big advantage. Not to mention that we play at San Siro.

I cant see Mourinho resting Cambiasso and probably neither Zanetti. Vieira should indeed need a little rest. He's been playing regularly after his injury, and Mou said that Stankovic should be playing on wednesday.
We might as well see a 4-4-2 formation against Lecce, with Cambiasso-Stankovic in the middle, and Quaresma-Figo on the flanks. Adriano-Cruz upfront. For sure, this game should be an important indication for who will probably play on sunday. If Quaresma & Adri start this match, I would assume that he'd be resting Balotelli for sunday. HOPEFULLY, he doesnt rest Figo for sunday! That would be disastrous. Cruz is a little off-form, but this game should prove to be a good test for him.
If we notch 6 points in the next 2 matches, I would seriously start to think that we're already at a good point for another scudetto...

Inter captain and legend Javier Zanetti has spoken of his pride as he stands on the cusp of playing his 600th game for the Nerazzurri.

The brilliant Argentine wing-back/midfielder signed for Inter in 1995 from Banfied and has been consistently world class for 13 years now.

Now at the age of 35, Zanetti has showed no signs of slowing down, and during SundayÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s 3-1 win over Torino he made his 599th appearance for the club.

This astonishing figure will become 600 if he plays against Lecce tomorrow night.

"I am proud," said Zanetti.

"Its unusual nowadays to see players remain at a club for many years and its not easy to stay at such a prestigious club for so long.

"I have the same hunger for victories as I had when I joined Inter and I have a strong determination to continue to give a hand to a club that I love so deeply.

Zanetti is still a long distance behind all-time Serie A appearance holder Paolo Maldini, who has played 873 times for Milan.

Results are more important than a 600th mark. Zanetti is more than capable of playing 2 games in a week as I think he is the kind of player who needs to be cloned in the future to understand the secrets of a perfect athlete.

I think Il Capitano will play.He is the only guy in the inter squad who can play non stop and still give 100%.

If he plays i am sure he won't be subbed.He wouldn't want to remember his 600th game as the one in which he played only 45 mins or 60 mins.

Why Frank? Have you ever seen Zanetti being subbed? To be honest, unless he got injured, I've never seen an Inter coach subbing him in a game. The guy should be cloned!!
