Il tecnico dell'Inter parla del duello scudetto.

Roberto Mancini accoglie senza grossi patemi d'animo la sconfitta nel Trofeo Gamper, pesante ma assolutamente indolore dal punto di vista del morale. Il suo, nel post partita, ÃƒÂ¨ un discorso che tocca corde diverse: dalla lotta scudetto alle scelte per la lista Uefa.

"Se mangerÃƒÂ² il panettone? - ha detto ironizzando a fine partita - Questo ÃƒÂ¨ il momento piÃƒÂ¹ difficile: l'importante ÃƒÂ¨ scollinare settembre illesi, poi non ci saranno piÃƒÂ¹ problemi... Scherzi a parte, la condizione fisica della squadra non mi preoccupa piÃƒÂ¹ di tanto.

PerÃƒÂ², alla fine del campionato, i giallorossi sono arrivati 22 punti dietro: qualcosa vorrÃƒÂ pur dire...

Ho parlato con Adriano, lui sa quello che pensiamo di lui. Il Chino? Il suo ÃƒÂ¨ un caso a parte, particolare, quasi privato. Ad ogni modo, se decidono di restare gestirÃƒÂ² sei punte senza problemi: quattro verranno convocate e due andranno in tribuna, il discorso ÃƒÂ¨ semplice.

La lista Uefa? qualcuno di importante dovrÃƒÂ essere sacrificato. In attacco? Non so, devo inserire per forza gli squalificati e ne ho ben tre in difesa, quindi me ne serve uno in piÃƒÂ¹ dietro. E' proprio un gran casino!".

Even this interview is bad enough......I don't know whether he actually said those things about roma or it was a bit of spice from the media but it looks real bad......

Milan got a fairly decent draw but I expect no excuses from Inter this season for the CL because we have been handed a very, very conquerable group! Roma... well I think you will qualify. Where, will be the question that I cannot figure out at the moment. Lazio also has a strong chance. What do the boys think?

Surely the draw could have been much tougher for us with teams like sevilla,valencia and some german teams in pot 2.....And we can also manage with our missing players against the 3 teams.....They are good but cannot be compared to the likes of sevilla etc.....Now there is no excuse for us if we don't finish top....It's as simple as that....

Can't moratti keep quite for sometime......I bet everyone in the world knows that it was a bad result and we desperately need a result against empoli....But coming out of the president's mouth surely adds more pressure on the team .....doesn't it?

Recoba joins Torino on loan

MILAN - Alvaro Recoba has completed a loan move to Torino. The documents relating to the transfer were signed this morning by Inter vice president Rinaldo Ghelfi and technical director Marco Branca, and Torino president Urbano Cairo and managing director Stefano Antonelli. The player was present during the meeting.

For Recoba, who has collected 261 appearances for Inter and scored 72 goals, winning 2 Scudettos, 2 Italian Cups, 2 Italian Super Cups and 1 UEFA Cup, it is his second loan move to another club since arriving in Italy in the summer of 1997. He played for Venezia from January to June in 1999.

Inter wishes Alvaro Recoba the best of luck at Torino.
