pretty good, except for the fact that since daniel alves has been pushed out of the first team, a player a thousand times more awesome has been brought in: diego capel. depending on which wing he will play, he may give us problems. oddo can handle him with ease, but marek may have trouble. of course, our experience may be too much for the kid, and we have yet to see if he will be called up for the game, but there is no doubt that capel will be a star of the future.

their attack will cause us problems, no word of a lie. all of their strikers, whether kanoute, fabiano, kerzakhov, or whoever else, are very mobile and always looking to create space. this will definitely be one of those games in which we will need both dms at their best, as well as our fullbacks. i think both oddo and marek will be up to the task, and the only reason why i believe jank to have struggled so much in the final few games of the champions league is that he was too tired to keep performing at the highest level. he was one of the players who got the least rest all season.

i expect emerson to be called up and come in late as a sub, maybe for ambro, whom i still have doubts about maintaining a high tempo for a full 90 minutes. if ronaldo is available, that should give us more options up front.

the bookies have us as favorites, but they are still a very dangerous team, perhaps the most dangerous team in spain at the moment, though once they gel as a team, barca and real may catch up to their level.

yeah, if anything, i am only worried about their strikers who seem to be scoring left, right and center.

im pretty confident we can easily outplay them in the midfield; its just their conterattacks we have to look out for.

and no alves or maresca helps us i guess...

Hate to be the last one commenting on the game but I just saw the highlights and I'm happy...we controlled the game from start to finish and we have no more injuries to worry about...
Went to dead.com to download them highlights and chanced upon a few of the posts there...we have one guy (I presume he's 11 or deranged) threatening to kill Berlu if we don't get Ronnie and yet another idiot claiming Fabregas is, get this, more skillful than Pirlo...makes me wonder..
Seville have a monster squad...and everyone seems to be as good as the other so they don't miss a beat even with injuries..This will probably be a true test as to where we stand this season, so I'm hopng for a good win...but like you said they are far ahead when it comes to match fitness, espeially with Puma and R99 set to play...

what will not work in sevilla's favour, however, is that they had a game on sunday (in which getafe got two men sent off, prior to that, they were winning), a champions league away qualifier today, the supercup on friday, and another league away game on sunday. clearly, they will have to rotate their players if they want to stay on top in la liga, which i believe is their priority this season.

we have a tricky game against fiorentina on monday, and i'm not sure if our players from friday will be fit enough to battle in just three more days.

as for dead.com, i'm sure fabregas is rated higher than pirlo in fifa 2007, so, clearly, he must be a better player.
