Lomba, maybe I'm the type who wants and expects too much at times from a team but the way I've always seen it, the home side holds the advantages and if we are talking about serious champions then these games must be won with less effort than I saw your Inter having to put in on Sunday.

Yes, of course there will be times during these matches when the away team gets a foothold but the point I'm hoping to get across is that there weren't individuals at fault from an Inter point of view, it was a case of a more collective team effort being required...even taking into account that you didn't have available some of the particular defenders you may have wanted on Sunday, I'd have said those you did have were capable enough. Just as an afterthought, you could argue that it's wishful thinking on my part to suggest Roma looked stronger than Inter during extra time but I guess that's an unimportant and even unnecessary point to bring up now...

On Balotelli of whom I have great hopes for Italy's sake, he must be educated into maturing his youthful temperament as quickly as possible. On Sunday it was Cassetti who was abrasive with him but there will always be a defender doing just the same thing...which you already know. In Balotelli's case though it's some of his comments off the playing field which may land him in hot water if he's not careful.

As for Roma finishing second...again! Too much is now depending on not only who we buy at this late stage in the calciomercato but just how injury free we can stay for our more crucial games because as you can clearly see, our reserves are just that, not exactly first team starting quality! I don't think our rossoneri and bianconeri members would agree at least at this point on Roma staying second!

After saying that Liverfekkin'wankscum are in the race for Quaresma last week, now A bola say that Inter are VERY close to signing Quaresma for 15M Euros + loan of pele. That confirms to me that Liverfekkin'wankscum were never interested in Quaresma, and the rumours were spread out to close the deal at a higher price. Quaresma telenovela should be over soon..

Secondo l'indiscrezione riportata dal quotidiano portoghese A Bola, Ricardo Quaresma sarebbe finalmente ad un passo dall'Inter. Seems like currently (or within today), the Porto officials have a meeting with Quaresma's representative and Inter have a meeting with Pele's. All this can only mean one thing. I guess this time around, the transfer is REALLY very near to a conclusion, and if the deal will really end up of what is being reported (15M + Pele on loan), then it was well worth the wait, since Porto's first asking price was 40M.

L'Inter, però, ora ha bisogno di fare cassa e per questo sta intensificando i contatti con la Roma per la cessione di Suazo. I giallorossi sono disposti ad arrivare a cinque milioni per la comproprietà se riusciranno a trovare un accordo sull'ingaggio col giocatore honduregno.

MILANO - Oggi, a meno di clamorose sorprese, Victor Nofor Obinna firmerà un contratto quadriennale con l'Inter. L'accordo dovrebbe essere stato trovato ieri sera nella sede di via Durini: il procuratore del 21enne attaccante, Raffaele Martino, avrebbe trovato un accordo con i nerazzurri che, nel caso di un arrivo di Ricardo Quaresma, girerebbero Obinna in prestito all'estero. Due le possibili destinazioni: il Monaco, in Francia, e il West Ham, in Inghilterra.

I think Drogba signed last week, but I aint sure, since I aint concerned by anything going on in the EPL. Mourinho has a new black stud in Adriano here, since he seems to be making quite an improvement since Mou arrived.

What's your gut feeling on it? I personally think we'll sign him on the last day of the window. Roma are going to sign Menez for 10 mil so you wouldn't think they'll be getting Suazo unless we send him on loan. We need to find some buyers.
