I'm in Shield. I put my name forward on the discussion thread, and threw in my two cents on the Matchday 1.

I see a lot of non-Roma fans don't fancy us against Napoli. I think there is a hype around Napoli at the moment being a lot bigger than they actually are, not least that clown Marino, who reckons that they are equal with Milan. Sorry, but that to me is just ridiculous. Although Hamsik and Lavezzi are top class, I wouldn't rate the rest of the team that highly. The home advantage will no doubt help them, but if we can defend better than we did last year (not asking a lot to be honest), we should come out on top.

Actually, grasso, I tend to think Rube are weaker than they were last season - simply because of the toll the Champignons League will have on them and the old legs they have in a number of important positions. Still, at least they have Z'itti - I mean, other than Zebina, can anyone think of a better passer in world football than him?

Maro, that's true - when you take the CL into account Juve are weaker than the were last season. While their squad has been strengthened it has not been sufficiently strengthened for them to truly compete in both serie a and the CL. The Waterboy will fall apart and Nedved more or less already has - may the rest of his decline be swift and enjoyable.

I know grasso... it shows how 'expert' goal.com's writers are when the majoirty vote that Del Pieor is most likely to be the best attacker and the golden boot for next season. I mean... nevermind all the up and comers.. nevermind that sheva will be fed by ronnie and kaka and pato.. nevermind the fact that amauri will have better service to... fucking delboy... im sorry.. i have no more respect left for goal.com's writers.
